Ok

I waited till this got cleared to make sure it worked, and it has so i wanted everyone else to know.

This will only work if you have quidco as this is were you are making the money.

If you go onto quidco and search for O2, third option down, and click into it they are offering.

£23.33 for SIM only products
£35 for Pay Monthly (Contract) (single commission per order basis)
£3.50 FOR PAY-AS-YOU-GO (SINGLE COMMISSION PER ORDER BASIS)
£40 FOR MOBILE BROADBAND
110 for Samsung Pay Monthly Contract Sales (G600 Mighty, U900 Soul, U800 Sleek handsets only)

I highlighted the important 2 in Bold.

So by going through quidco, to O2, and getting the pay as you go dongle you are straight away making a profit of 14.60 pounds for nothing.

I have checked my quidco account, the order has been tracked, verified and in my bank account.

Hope this helps people out there.

To be honest i am currently using both, so didnt flog mines on, but i cant see why not.

I guess you could buy the dongle and wait it out for a month and a bit to see if the cashback is paid? If not topup to be on the safe side.

Yeah i top mines up. I am using it as my internet while i am away. I believe this is stillt he best deal out there for a dongle that you will be using on a pay as you go basis.
#14
Are these unlockable
#15
I just bought this by chance and stumbled across this thread.

Needed a PAYG mobile dongle - and for £2 outlay its not bad at all!

Also the dongle can be used a USB stick with the addition of a micro sd card.
#16
Hm, won't work for me, tells me to call customer sales.....
#17
Great Thanks for sharing been after a PAYG Dongle thingy for when kids at MIL house as Grandma has no Internet there Cheers Kids will be well happy during Half Term, Thanks

I would go for this, but the last time I tried purchasing something via quidco through the O2 website I ended up paying for a mobile phone 3 times (long story!) and O2 couldnt find any record of any order.
I did end up getting refunded all 3 payments and getting the mobile I tried to buy sent to me for free as an apology, but only after 3 days solid on the phone and speaking to 41 different people before getting it sorted.

Kinda puts me off trying to order online with them again, but im tempted!
#19
You received both £3.95 and £40 for the same transaction?
#20
Can you use the SIM in a normal mobile to access the net while out and about?

Picture not showing.

Not saying this won't work, a few may slip through, but if loads of people apply then they will likely notice. This is taken from topcashback (they all use pretty much the same system so the same usually applies for other cashback sites).

"Online purchase Mobile Broadband £40.00
Applies to 18/24 Month Contracts Only "

EDIT - Although saying that it's still worth a punt. Anyone know whether you can put a "3" sim in or can unlock it?
#24
sorry dont know what happened with the picutre. I got both the 40 pound and the 3.95 quidco cashback on my account. It was slow verfiying but both sums of money got added to my account.
#25
I've always found you get the cashback from 02 anyway even if you don't topup.

the last phone I brought from them has paid the £15 out now but the simm card is still sitting in my laptop case unopened.

worto.

If you top up, does it ever expire?

Yes, as per a phone. But if the reception area is not 3G you get a paltry 48kbps type connection, kind of like a dial up modem - PAINFUL!

Many areas do have 3G now, but there are lots of locations that do not, especially rural or smaller towns (think lower population density). There is a coverage map on O2's website iirc.
#35
Simply HOT.
#36
the top up expires after 30 days and the product was bought in december and i got the money this month
#37
You cannot really lose with this.Saves me having to pop to Mc donalds when we see the inlaws.

Same here.. and calling doesn't help... been waiting for more tha 10 minutes and they don't seem to pick my call. I guess this has something to do with credit reference. :?

I can't find this deal at all. Do I click a banner or something?
#40
Anyone know if this can be unlocked?

also if I can pop in my O2 iPhone sim into it and browse the internet via my netbook, instead of using my iPhone?

is the included SIM Data only or can you use the credit for phone calls too?

Worked for me: logged in as existing customer and added it to my basket. - most details already saved, just had to put in my credit card again.

+HOT Thanks.
