*only applies if you have a O2 Open discount card*

A heads up to anyone with the above discount card

Just been off the phone to the local O2 store as getting a phone for my dad

The deal is £10 a month sim only (12 month contract) , 300 mins, unlimited text, and from tomorrow free Samsung E2120 or Nokia 1680 and £100 cashback is credited to your account so cost over 12 months is £20 or £1.66 a month

You can choose any simplicity tarrif and get £100 back but the savings are bigger on the lower tarrifs

Well good for everyone who has a card, excellent deal.

Not good in anyway for those that don't. :x

Going to vote luke warm as it's middle of the road for me. I don't have a card but got the £10 a month, 300mins, unlimited texts, free landline calls & hopefully £100 cashback through Quidco after 2 months min passes & I give them an ear bashing & show them the screenshots & replies from Craig at Quidco saying I would receive the £100 cashback .

So luke warm it is from me. :)

I signed up a month ago for this at the £10 300 minutes and free landline sim only.
if you sign up for the £10 per month its only £25 quidco, only £100 at tthe higher tarrif. still a good deal though.

Deanos. Please remember only to post deals that are officially approved by punkrjb and mitsub in future!:whistling:

cheeky! i didn't say whether i approved of his deal or not....! I stated a fact.... only good for those with the card!:whistling:
#30
unless they have changed things in the last few days the instore offer is different to online and you dont get unlimited o2 to o2 or unlimited landline. I have a open discount card and the deal via quidco buying online I think works out a better deal.

Not a fact. A card holder can do 6 deals per year for other people, so it's good for people with the card AND for those people that know somebody with the card.

So I shall buy....and expect the shop to say no...... but buy anyway and get sttaff accounts to adjust manually.

Let us know how you get on.
#33
Nice one !

Im in tomorrow to get 3 contracts , did you get the bolt on as well instore ? or did you have to haggle , i was told on the phone you couldn't add those as its online only

Any SKU codes i could use ? or can you tell me which store did the deal for you, can PM if you wish
#34
Well done !

Where were you seeing the free phone adverstised - is it a poster in store or something?

It clearly states that the free bolt on is for online deals only - how did you convince them to let you have it in store?
#35
Do you have a number for accounts , i just have a card and thats it
#36
Cheers for keeping us informed. R added. Can't decide whether to go for the basic £1.67 deal, or add internet at an additional £5. It all depends on which phone I decide on.
#37
what free phones can you pick from?

Cheers
#38
Samsung E2120 or Nokia 1680

I don't know either - cracking deal, thank you. I am off to sign up tomorrow. Heat and rep left, where else can you get all this for £1.66 a month, I think the cold votes are from all the people who are unable to take advantage of the deal, which seems a little unfair to the deal !!
