Ok, so £50 for the new england shirt is a bit steap.

However, for those thinking of buying it, here is an slight alternative for the same price.

Poppy logo and British Forces badge on the shirt with £5 going to a great cause.

Also adds a bit of extra colour and design to a rather plain shirt.

I am happy to pay £5 more as long as it goes to the british legion

Think your comment 'a rather plain shirt' sums it up. There's a credit crunch on and the FA are charging 50 quid for a bland plain white t-shirt! I know Wembley cost 760 million, but I don't want to pay for it myself! :)

Why not just give a fiver to the legion and get a white t-shirt for about 3 quid? ;-)

I agree that the shirt is plain (although I personally like the retro look) and pretty expensive, but you know people are still gonna buy it, so thought I'd put out an alternative. One where a worth while charity benefits as well.

Outrageous price. We were watching the game on Saturday and my boyfriend was raving about the retro look shirt. I was going to surprise him with one but I can't afford £50. I think £30 would have been enough to pay. Sadly he will have to do without.

Think I'll just give £5 to the British Legion.

The shirt is only £40 in most places,so why not buy it there and give £5 (if you REALLY) want to the BL

Good job i do then. :) I reckon i deserve to get it cheaper after working there for over 2 years, and was only on £3.30 an hour for the best part of it :x
