Hey YO! Lover!

Starting Monday, YO! Sushi's ever-popular January Sale is back - we're giving away £1/2 million worth of food when you dine with us from 5th to 19th January so you can enjoy a fantastic 40% off your food bill* whilst stocks last!

Kick start your 2009 healthy eating regime by tucking into our delicious and healthy Japanese inspired dishes (colour-coded and ranging from £1.70 to £5.00) off the conveyor belt including hot classics, sushi, hand rolls, salads and desserts - and your purse strings could shed some pounds too with our £1/2 Million Giveaway promotion.

To redeem your 40% discount (valid up to 10 plates, one voucher per person and to be retained in-store, full t&c's below), simply print this email and present it at the end of your meal.

YO! Sushi guarantees the sale for 14 days and we'll keep you updated via our website with advance notice before the promotion ends and also how our 'Giveaway Pot' is doing, should there be the chance to extend our promotion but once all our free plates are gone, they're gone.

Go on, get your Sushi Skates on!

1 voucher per person, so I guess you just print one each

actual voucher here

There always seems to be some sort of discount voucher/offer for YO Sushi. I just wish they would simply reduce their prices.
#5
HOT! much better than the previous deal! Heat & rep added!!!
#6
mmm, raw fish
#7
Cold fish, but hot deal. Thanks

mmm, raw fish

You don't have to have the Sashimi, you could just stick to the sushi and avoid the raw fish. Most sushi doesn't have raw fish in it, just a lot of rice.

The raw fish thing is a massive misconception about sushi. Nigiria, makis and California rolls. Hmmmm.

Sushi = japanese vinegared rice cooking + wasabe.

Sashimi = raw fish.

if you really want raw fish, have some smoked salmon.

Anyway, massive hot deal, I love Sushi, wish I had a Yo closer to home.

Seeing as most people wouldn't have the voucher, to give the same reductions as a price cut would only cut off a few pennies.

They sound desperate
#11
They do hot foods too lol

You're bound to find something you like - you can choose from over 90 dishes including hot foods (like Chicken Katsu Curry), sashimi, maki, hand rolls, salads and desserts!

Ditto. 40% off is where the prices should be at anyway for some of the dishes! :?

as usefull as 40% off a Lamborghini for most folks.

way too expensive , why is vinegar soaked rice so expensive ? hhhmmmm
#14
I'm not voting on this one because although it's a decent deal, there's a sushi restaurant I know of in Central London which has it's normal prices about the same as this deal and better quality food (and as soon as I discovered it I stopped going to Yo!). Yo! Sushi is a decent place but I highly recommend looking out for better sushi restaurants if there are any accessible to you.

Why is everthing so expensive!? They charge what they think they can get for something and they normally get it!

Love sushi, but once at the Bluewater branch (even with a 50% offer) was enough to put me off Yosushi for life.

It's classic market segmentation. By offering deals with vouchers it lets them capture two market segments and maximize their profits. First, they charge a premium for normal customers who are not that cost conscious or are perhaps embarrassed to use vouchers. Then they also draw in cost conscious customers, such as yourself, and make a modest return without affecting the premium market segment sales.

Market Segmentation is probably a bigger reason for sales outside of grocery stores than the more commonly considered notion of a loss leader.

Could you possibly tell me the name/location of the London one because we are going soon and are looking for reasonably priced places to eat. Thanks.

There's a good £10 all you can eat one in the Mailbox in Birmingham. Eat 2 or 3 good plates and you've already saved over Yosushi.
