My girlfriend said that thirteen was utter crap. I saw it being built and i thought it was a kids roller coaster.

Good prices though :D
#3
OOO didnt know they had a new coaster! Nice price, wouldn't advise going during the summer hols though, you'll get on about 5 rides all day!
#4
Is this not just the same price as the 2-4-1 tickets printed in the sun? Or is this a better deal?

I went on it a few weeks ago. It's good, something a bit different then any other coaster in the UK.

If you have been to universal studios in florida then you might be less impressed.
#10
i guess if you scared of scary rides then going here is a WOM?
#11
expire end of july as i have the email from 365tickets.com
#12
Good deal but you can get a pair of tickets for as low as £7 the pair on ebay as I did last month.
#13
"hurry".....hahahahahaha - not that they are desperate for custom or anything!!
#14
I went on Thirteen back in June and thought it was rubbish.

Good price for tickets but no way would I go in the school holidays!
#16
that's a good price for Alton Towers entry. I used 365 tickets before and it makes it so much cheaper than on the gate prices - you can even print them off the night before
#17
Here is my dilemna. Me & the wife would like to take the kids but we dont go on any of the rides, but we end up having to pay an entrance fee.

Are there any places out there where its a 'pay as you ride' system?

Try Adventure Island in Southend. Free to enter the park. Either buy individual ride tickets or a band for unlimited. Parents can go free on some rides with kids who have paid.
#19
good deal, as for those who say 13 is "crap" "rubbish" why is it?

Ive been on it 3 times , its a good ride, bit different, quite short, but its a decent addition to the park, cant say ive seen anyone getting off it who didnt like it.

Only downside is the queue average wait of 60 mins
#20
13teen is rubbish. Its not even fast, it drops down, which is quite a suprise, but thats the best thing. Ritas a better of a ride, as is oblivion, nemesis and air.

Or Blackpool Pleasure Beach may be the better option. Southend is very small.

This link is for a voucher from 2009 - hence the price, unusable!

DRAYTON MANOR not to far from alton towers or FANTASY ISLAND SKEGNESS. but there are loads of family rides at alton towers which you should force yourself on if you are haveing A FAMILY DAY OUT !!!!!!!
#26
hot, but you get quidco with last minute.

I'm planning to go on the fourth but wanted to know, is it really as bad as people make out during the summer holidays? I've decided I'm gonna be careful and buy fast track tickets too cos I cant possibly not sit on air, nemesis and oblivion.
#27
4th of September booked. Didn't think of school holidays :( but hey sure it will be great!
#28
If you're looking at alternatives for 'pay as you ride' and are willing to travel all the way to blackpool or southend (depends where in the country you are) - it may be cheaper just to pay for entry to Alton Towers and not go on any rides!
#30
Be mad to go during school holidays, be lucky if u get on couple rides, after queing for hrs
#31
Thirteen is over rated been on once and because i now kow what happens on it - i wouldn't cue all that time again - only good because of the sense of not knowing that its going to happen.
#32
This offer expired last year:(

#33
Just returned from Alton Towers and the new ride for 2010 is great. Didn't expect some of it and would recommend Alton Towers over two days! Oblivion was immense to! Remember there is fast track available for like £3.00 a ride if you want to jump the que.
