Click link, then Home Energy Insurance in top bar and then boiling and heating cover and on the right is Comprehensive Cover which is half price at £8.99 for a month.

Other winter deals available

Alot cheaper than British Gas, and if i hear another advert for home care i will . . .. . . .. . . .. .

Thanks to BilboBargains

EDIT: I have noticed concern in comments re: reviews. I accept the reviews are not the best and they can be difficult but BGas equivalent is £27 a month or £18 with £50 excess.
Which scores this 46% and BGas 55% so not that much difference considering the price

From what i have read the work will get done, as long as you know and use your rights!

It may be more hassle than BGas but it is 1/3 the price, and thats what HUKD is for?

should read £8.99 per month not year :)

Remember you can also get £45.00 cash back via Quidco as well. Good deal. Voted HOT!

But looks like you have to pay the first £50 of any claim!
#4
thanks op :)

After having terrible experience with them only 2 weeks back, i would check the reviews before you sign up !
#6
The deal looks OK we pay £14/month but that includes car breakdown on an old policy. As with most of these plans if you don't have your boiler serviced - no cover and that could mean no cover for whole central heating system!

I'd agree. I had such a terrible experience with them last year that even Homeserve admitted it was very poor, and gave me a full refund. I don't like paying BG's overinflated prices, but at least they turn up when promised and actually do the work.

I'm with BG on Homecare 400 and, TBH, they've never let me down and with it I get annual Boiler/Heating checks and Electrical checks every 2 years. Am tempted to go for HomeServe, but some of the reviews aren't great and paying the first £50 of any claim is a bit of a put-off!
#9
Had no dealings with them, but...... we have had umpteen phone calls from them where they just hang up when we answer. We're on the TPS & are ex-directory, but it still doesn't seem to deter these people.

This company is awful, do not ever use them!

They are rubbish it took them nearly three weeks to fix my boiler and they dont have their own engineers it is all contracted out, so you end up with any cowboy.

My neighbours use them and recommended them to me, maybe service is better in some areas than others? It must be a busy time for them too.

I am concerned about the feedback I'm seeing here though. Price is certainly hot

Highest is Worcester at 70% but that is only available with their new boilers

Yes it may get done eventually, but when your heating and water has packed up waiting over a week isn't good enough, and 90 minute q's on the phone when you call up isn't good enough either

Had a problem with boiler recently and they have sorted it so ot has already paid for itself.

Never queued more than 5 mins!
