1. Use the above link and resister
2. Copy down the generated code Sky give you
3. Clear Cookies
4.Log into Quidco and choose Sky
5.Sign up as normal but you will see a link on the right hand side "Do you have an offer code" (see pic below)
6.Put in the code Sky gave you earlier and it will half the subscription, the ongoing cost is what it costs after 12 months.
7.Quidco will track but more than likely it wont pay out, some people have had cashback withthe previous offer so its worth doing just incase.
8.M+S Vouchers as above you may.may not get them but some people have emailed Sky and they have been sent

This is for new customers, however there is nothing stopping you cancelling and ordering in your partners name, if your order gets cancelled try adding A to your address and then it should go through (you may need to generate another code)

And pay sky over £400 for it, and that's at half price!
#17
how do people get round the 'had sky in the last 12 months' issue?

If you have the same land line & same last name as previous account holder?
#18

Not really - with this deal, the cheapest deal would be £14 per month.

i.e. £168 for the year.
#19
i have a virgin landline, is that going to be a problem? Also do you get the £25 m&s voucher with this deal?

LOL cheaper than Freesat then and you can then watch the 4 free HD channels when the 12 months are up and the other freesat channels

No wont be a problem

he said 40 hd channels compared to freesats 2, that is the top package if you are getting that many HD channels, with the cheapest you will only get the same as freesat so what's the point?:whistling:
#24
No you wont - you dont get Sky1 etc on freesat!
#25
Even if you get the lower package you get all the HD channels apart from movies and sport then after 12 months you get 4 free HD channels and can use it as a freesat box, still works out cheaper than a freesat box and install if you go for the lower package

Think you are missing the original point, the op argued that you get 40 HD channels on sky to the 2 on feesat, well it's a poor argument as to get these 40hd channels you will pay over £400.

On the lowest package you don't get any HD channels apart from the free ones

I'm not missing the point, as I'm not bothered about the individual point - merely stating that to say this deal is poor value compared to freesat is:

a) simply false, as highlighted above
b) comparing chalk and cheese - some people will want sky.

Not true - Sky1 for example.

You've made your point, its been proven wrong, why continue?

OK then pay £168 and then get 25 HD channels vs 2 on Freesat then after 12 months you get 4 free channels vs 2 on Freesat, still makes Freesat HD the poor choice

mmm according to my reckoning you only get up to 6 HD channels with the basic pack + BBC/ITV/Ch4

Basic pack is £18.00/m + HD (£10/m) £216 + £120 = 1/2 price (£108 + £60)
OK U get a Sky + box thrown in but can u keep this if u cancel after 12mnths.

You need to add extras to get further HD channels ... It all starts to build up...

and they are really pushing this as a footie deal ... which you can see on BBC/ITV anyway..

I left Sky years ago got freeview/freesat and watch footie down the pub when there is a game on I really want, to see... leaving wifey to flick thru' 100's of meaningless channels while I was out...
Got ****** off with Sky when the offered free broadband but only to certain customers...and didn't offer a rebate for those who couldn't get access to their LLU equipment

Will be interesting to see exactly who signs up for what and how much on here using this offer..

and I have an open mnd on this if someone can convince me otherwise...

btw TVCatchup is going HD soon (8 channels)... http://www.tvcatchup.com

i cant decide whether to switch all my services to sky, as im currently paying £25.49 for my tv broadband and phone incl line rental from virgin.

this package will be good for a year but after that how much will it cost me?

also can sky install phonelines? cause my old bt line is ancient and the last time i spoke to bt they wanted £125 to re activate it!

The temerature says it all, get a humax HD box for around £90 half the price you'd end up paying for this, or better still do. What I did, get a dreambox;-)

The temperature says nothing - the last deal, which was only a tiny bit different from this, got HUGE heat.

Simply means this hasnt been noticed - either yet, or at all - like happens to so many deals on here.

What are you talking About? 25 HD channels on the lowest sky packge? No chance, I think you need to read up on it before you just wildly guess, you will get about 4

When you subscribe to the HD pack you can watch all the non premium channels even if you don't subscribe to them, so say you dont have Discovery in your Sky Mix you can still watch Discovery HD if you have the HD pack

Its an academic argument.

For the first year, you still get more than freesat, for less money.

Sure - some people dont want sky. For these people this is still a good deal if they want freesat.

For those who do want sky, this is a great deal.
