I'd disagree on that one .. Pampers are the best (much better than Huggies and own-branded stuff)

It won't include baby milk. It's illegal to have promotions on it.

Just got back from town with 170 nappies for just short of £15. Sainsbury's own baby dry 4+ 58 in a pack for £4.99 or there abouts.

I also spotted Wipes, creams, nappy bags were also in the offer. All nappies were on offer for as far as I could see. Pampers large packs of 52 4+ nappies were £5.98.

Sainsbury's do these offers about every three months so I always stock up but then the other supermarkets will follow with a similar offer. I bet. . Asda will be next

I think it's something to do with promotions could discourage breast feeding. or something like that.
#21
thats odd since brestfeeding's free lol

Blimey. Would be interesting to see if any surveys etc were done into that as I'm pretty sure that most parents would want to at least try to breastfeed for costs alone but also for the better goodness in breast milk.

Oh well, ours is due next week so cheap nappies here we come.

I think you can have promotions on baby milk but NOT the first milk ie SMA Gold as government guidelines are to breast feed.
I asked SMA awhile ago about coupons for SMA Gold and they said they were not allowed to. However I have seen money off the red one in Tesco (Buy 2 save £1 or something) and used to get Till Spits for money off the Heinz Nurture one.

Thanks for this :)
You can have promotions on baby milk... but only that meant for babies 6 months and over.
#33
just in time for my no.2 kid to arrive! now I'll save 30% on crap I wished I never had to buy again =p
#34
in my main store all sorts of cream was included in the offer even teething gel depends on how big the store is as we have two one had some stuff the other one didnt
#35
thanks, heat and rep.

Our health visitor told us that they dont do promos on baby milk because if they did people would chop and change the brand to whatevers on offer that week and it is not good for little babies stomachs to change the formula unless advised by health visitor etc and also the breastfeeding thing too.
#37
My missus will be having our second in around two hours. Wonder if i have time to pop in:w00t:
#38
Oh blimey! You must let us know what you have!! :-) And, if you had chance to grab some bargains at Sainsbury's! lol...

Reductions are all on the Sainsburys home shopping site, E45 isn't as it is a general skin cream, it's only the creams & lotions marketed more for babies like Sudocrem.

Could this be an effort to fix the price of baby's milk? Total con this government guidelines crap!
