1.5l isn't that much, the bottle on my bike holds at least 1l and i could fit two

seems a bit much just to carry around 1.5l of liquid

I'm thinking bout it. What you guys think in comparison with its competitors out there?
#9
Can you take the insides out these and just use them as a light ruksack?

I got a Muddy Fox one from Sports Direct for only a bit more. Which I think is brilliant. I think it was £7.99.

Why do some people ask dumb questions????. It's a hydration pack designed to hold fluids easily when cycling, running, etc whether on the road or across rough terrain. It's not rocket science!!!

Just wondering, as these things sit on your back does the liquid not get warmed up by body heat while cycling?
Interested, but I prefer my drinks on the move to be cold.
#26
would be good to take into the olympic park as there are long queues for water from the fountains

of course the water is going to get heated up but its 1.5L therefore its going to take a long time for it to heat up

For £7 it's worth trying to see how it fairs against a proper branded one. Just reserved the last one in York and luckily as I'm off out on my MTB to Sherwood Pines in half hour so prefect timing! It best not leak!

It's in the rules: http://www.velominati.com/the-rules/#32

And you have bottle cages for a reason.

Reserved the last one near me - thanks :)

Here we go, prepare to get shot down in flames again zeke......

Cannot see the point. When did it become critical to carry fluid with you at all times? What's wrong with having a drink before and/ or after any vigorous exercise or anything involving being more than 10m from the nearest tap or fridge? I ride my bike to work and vigorously exercise the dog. Never, ever felt the need to carry round a "titty bottle".

In theory, yes. In practice, no. You`d be able to fit more in your pockets than you could fit in one of these.

When your out on your bike for 4+ hours at a weekend it gets pretty tiring without a drink. Agreed if its a run for up to an hour but anything above 2 hours (IMO) and I start needing a drink pretty badly.

Totally agree. I do long distance running and cycling and when your cross country running for example and 25 miles from home and 5-6 miles from the nearest house...they come in handy

Bet its like drinking your own sweat. Thanks but no.

i wonder how comfortable this is? Or better to invest in a better quality one?
