I just think its funny :) As there is to many people who think they know what they are doing when they don't.And can cause more harm than good though DIY electrics. I am sure a lot of electrical house fires are caused by someone who thought they knew what they were doing, when they didn't. It may not even be them that suffers.

I just don't like the thought that someone has played with the electrics of my home in the past. Not knowing what they have done.(Untrained i am sure most people have seen cowboy builders ect ect)

This isn't pointed at you btw.Its just my view that this shouldn't be done unless your competent (_;)

True, people should not be "fannying around" with the house wiring, the wires more suitable for small wiring, power in the car or even just from a cell, decent price and id even go as far to say it could cope well outside with the correct trunking used, just personal preference though i suppose

1. I cant think of anywhere in a house installation you would use this cable.
2. Have a word with your local council before you undertake any electrical work on your own house :)
3. Get a sparky with Part P certification to give you a quote for the work. A quote is free, electrocuting your kids lasts a lifetime.
4 Price does not include VAT or delivery at £4.95
5 Cheaper at Screwfix £14.90 including VAT and delivery. http://beta.screwfix.com/p/tower-1-core-reel-conduit-cable-black-1-5mm-x-100m/23519

2. Dont need to go to the council if your adding a computer socket
3. Up north dont need part P, qualified with the 17th wiring regs and also inspection and testing so covered that way,

Nicely Said :) If you know what your doing and would be happy telling the estate agent when you moved why not asits like a spark you sign over that the X job is safe and cover your back in your "report" Why save yourself a few quid on something that should/has to be tested.

Of course changing fuses or cable is down to you. However if the worse happened your feel like a div as you would only have yourself to blame (_;)

If you really wanted to.You could wire it in singles and i think 1.5mm is good enough for lighting. As long as you sleeved it you shouldn't cause any confusion. Its not how it tends to be done in houses but it would be fine to use ......
