Cold voters WHERE IS IT CHEAPER????

I was puzzled by the quick cold votes when all the other 1.5TB deals are a few quid dearer??

I may have calculated the total cost slightly High as I just ordered 2 coming to a total of £152.77 (£76.385 each?)
Anyway they are £68.94 inc Vat + est £6.99 Del (Someone can confirm?)

I paid £68.94 for first one and £75.94 for the second + £7.99 Delivery. Total = £152.77...

Different prices as there on super specials = one at that price only?

Anyhow thats my NAS sorted for xmas

Check the the Seagate forums, problems with this drive still have not been resolved. Possibly this is where the cold votes some from.

And most NAS providers don't have this drive on the recommended list without caveats, the ST31500541AS is the improved model.

Get a Samsung F3, cheap quiet and cool, not really that slow for 5400rpm.

I checked out the Qnap Compatibility list before ordering and looks good
QNAP Compatibility List
I will see how I get on next week when it arrives ;-)

States in op's listing that this is the ST31500541AS ? I have one of these already and its faultless, which drive are you referring to ?

You can get the 541 for less anyway if you can get the free shipping offer from the avforums.

I have recieved my 2 Drives today, have just popped into my Qnap NAS,
The firmware on the 2 drives is version CC1H which according to the Knowledge base firmware begining with CC is not affected and doesnt require the update related to certain issues?
