1.5TB are still overpriced per GB when compared to other drives, a good price if you must have 1.5TB ( for device with only one bay maybe) but since I have just got 2x1TB drives for £130 I wouldn't recommend it myself.

It's not all about GB/£, though. Convenience, power consumption, system noise, and performance are all factors to consider too, and a single 1.5TB drive wins on all counts.

Actually, the 7200.11 family is the exact range that the problems you mention were on. :whistling:

Not saying it's not a good deal, just clarifying the point.

This drive is cheaper per GB than almost every 1TB drive, I can only think of the Hitachi that is cheaper. I wouldn't call this a hot deal though, 108/109 has been the price for this for weeks.
