Great price and ideal if the 1m length isn't quite enough - £1.34 delivered from a market place seller, or you can pay another 9p and have the order fulfilled by Amazon. Ordered mine today and it was despatched this afternoon.

£1.45 if you want the security of Amazon delivering it.

Also, there are a fair few posts stating the length isn't 1.8m.

Still, a good price.

I can't see the posts regarding the length, are they saying its bigger or smaller ?

Sorry, negative reviews on Amazon saying that they received 1m cables.

Also worth checking local pound land stores as I picked up a few Venom PS3 2m HDMI cables.

Like I said, still a good price at under £1.50 delivered.

Just ordered this, if it's not the correct length just contact Amazon

can i be thick and ask what i would use this for? i am waiting for my new tv to come and have a laptop, humax, wii and dvd player(old one)
#6
Hmc does your humax box have hdmi output ?
1 Like #7
Use it to connect any device that has HDMI output (maybe your laptop, maybe your DVD (prob not if old), maybe your humax, and not the wii) to your TV if it has HDMI inputs, check the specs to see how many yours has. Any modern TV will have at least one if not a few.

Surely if I order a 1.8m cable, then I should receive one? If I don't can I contact Amazon and return

(my xbox is under my TV in the cabinet so a 1m should suffice!)
#16
DAMMIT!

I've just blown £1.70 on eBay for a HDMI cable! woe is me

Good price though...if you get what you've paid for (_;)

You can't because it's not Amazon selling it!

Amazon Marketplace is supposedly banned from here, yet lately loads of these are being posted :-(
#19
Excellent. Just ordered 2.

Many thanks, and heat added.

I believe I recall a mod advising that they will allow some marketplace deals as long as they are sure it is not self-promo and the seller is reputable.

The picture quality won't be affected. A HDMI lead carries a binary signal ( i.e. a series of '0's and '1's). The mass public have been conned for too long in being made to believe the more they pay for a video or audio lead, the better the quality will be. Unless you're spending £thousands on top end equipment, the signal quality from a cheap HDMI lead will equal that of anything Currys throw out at £49.99.

How would you feel if the superstores offered you a gold-plated replacement kettle lead - that would boil your water faster, and make your coffee taste better - just because you'ld paid £34.99 for it. You'ld quite rightly think "bulldung" (or something similar.....)......

The same applies to the rip-off expensive HDMI leads.

Will the people complaining it's a marketplace seller please read the comment I made on the opening tab.....????

For another 9p you can have the order fulfiled by Amazon; which is effectively the same as buying directly from them.
#28
Hi how do you have your order "fulfilled by Amazon"?

Subtley done, imagine how bad the picture would be when connected through a no-name Onkyo AV reciever :p

In which case it should have been posted as the Amazon item

Look for the "more buying choices" on the right of the page and choose the "Thinkprice" seller option, it says "fulfilled by Amazon" on it.

Amazon marketplace sellers are fine. it's similar to Ebay in a way. if you have a problem with a seller and they don't deal with the problem then amazon deals with them for you. i had a faulty item just before xmas and the seller sent a courier to collect it at their cost and refunded me for the item a few days later. ( im not saying they would all do that ). the only other problem i had was when an item never turned up and the seller didn't respond to my emails, i opened a dispute with Amazon and they refunded me the cost of the item and postage themselves.
