I do, I have a dual Blu-Ray / HD-DVD drive in my HTCP. Considering HD-DVDs are as good as or in some case better than Blu-Rays, deals like this are piping hot. I reckon I've got about 10x more HD-DVDs than I have BRs.

If you're using the 360 HD-DVD player then turn the updates off - American Gangster wouldn't work with it on (black screen).

Not sure if you can do the same thing with other HD-DVD players, but it might be worth trying.

Blu ray had more studio support than HD-DVD, that's the main reason.

For those of us with HDDVD players £1.99 a film is a cracking price.

i am still thinking of selling my setup of a HD DVD player and 137 films and 7 box sets
but to get the same films on blue ray would cost a dam lot so in 2 minds

Yes, HDDVDs being priced at less than the equivalent DVDs is such a cold deal :/

Anyway, voted hot, and added another 5 HDDVDs to my collection ;-)

If they still work (And believe me, there isn't a difference in quality between HDDVD and Blu-Ray), why get rid of them?

Film buffs like myself that saw the opportunity when HD DVD lost out in the format war. Those of us that like movies in high definition at a decent price. Could have been the other way round, could have been buying Blu Ray cheap and HD DVD at inflated prices.

I own about 70 HD DVDs and so far only 6 Blu Ray titles.

Of course, they generally use the same AVC-1 codecs. HD DVD menus are less bloated though, I prefer them not being Java based like Blu Ray.
