Just a point - you have to CHOOSE YOUR DAY (from between the 13 to 21 quoted) at the time of filling in the onsite form, so have in mind your day(s) ASAP, though rules seem to allow for people to over claim without any real comeback :(

eg from T&Cs
"5.The number of tickets that you are entitled to buy (and the date of travel) will be printed on your Great Escape voucher. You may buy fewer, as long as at least one adult is travelling.
"6.There is no limit on the number of ticket applications that can be made, although there is a quota on the number of tickets available on each day of the promotion."

I know they ran a similar offer within the last year - I guess it worked OK!

Seems good to me

Does anyone know what age you have to pay for a child's ticket for? I have a 2 yr old and 4 yr old. I couldn't see it anywhere on their site. Only that children on the family railcard offer are from 5.

Try giving them a quick call...

"By phone
Call our Customer Services Team on 0121 634 2040 to buy tickets, find train times, enquire about existing bookings or with any other enquiries."

hope that helps.

That was helpful thank you. I was told under 5's are free but if you wanted to guarantee they had a seat then you would have to buy a child's ticket for them. But they are allowed to sit on an adult's knee.

ETA - fantastic. Reserved for us.

These vouchers are still available to claim as of today - just had an emailing from London Midland about it (possibly stimulated by apparent major problems with Berkhamsted area power line broken yesterday by a Virgin train).

Worked out really well but getting the tickets was difficult though

Saved £70 though!

Nice find, thank you. We were looking to go down to London and do a few touristy things next Friday/Saturday as it was.........now we've saved ourselves a packet on the trains, thank you very much. Means the girlfriend can buy me a present with the money we've saved :)

£20 for a first-class return, £10 for a normal return...sweet !...can't see how you can't see how it would help him. I could see how it could from here....you see ;-)

£10 for a return train compared to £6 on a coach, sitting for hours in traffic with the smell of students. old ladies and buckfast to enjoy ..know which one I'd choose :whistling:

Can I go from Birmingham to London with this and back again?

Yes you can, but only on a London Midland train NOT a Virgin train. The Virgin train is much faster and the London Midland trains stop at many more stations. I'm going from Stoke-on-Trent to London and back again with my voucher.
