I can just picture the gunk that will come out on first fry :)

the trick is to scrape it all off & chuck it away before the final sizzle

Pressure Cook a bag of frozen peas and a quarter already fried of this for 20 mins....blitz after......pea and ham soup
I like a few green lentils, mixed herbs and garlic with mine... and to remain a bit chunky.......lovely ;)

I bought one of these in Lidl last week looked like a big end of unsliced back bacon.
Opened it at home and it was 3 lovely thick bacon chops. Just because its cheap doesn't mean its not bloomin lovely !

Not the first time I've seen this comment for these offcut-type packs....What other uses are there for bacon? Unless you're lady gaga...

(Sorry, I couldn't help myself)

What about chopping it up into cubes and using it in liver and bacon with mashed potato and onion gravy?
I would, but I can't eat liver.

my dad buys it all the time he looks through the packs and gets the good ones like thick bacon chops, awesome in a chicken and bacon pie.

Tastes good. I was unsure it would be good as it's cheap.
