BE VERY CAREFUL, most modern cars take very high specifications anti-freeze now.

there are different coloured antifreeze on the market and generally they don't mix.

Have used this in the past and found it to be weak, needed 5 litrs to give the same protection that 3 ltrs would have afforded...

Someone that speaks some sense! Whenever people come in the shop to buy antifreeze and I ask them what colour they need, they look at me like an idiot!

Very true though, this is probably Carplan Blue Star which only offers a 2 year protection. Retails at around £4.99 usually though, so it's a good price if it's what you need.

I purchased 2 litres of carplan antifreeze that was recommended by motorworld for my car. The garage mixed and put it in for me. We had the bad weather recently and very cold temps. Fetch my car back went to drive it the next day and it was completely frozen, pipes everything!! I now have an £329 bill for the damaged that has been caused! has anyone had trouble with carplan anti freeze?
