it is a good deal... if you check in on-line and don't check in any luggage.

Just be aware that if you don't do the above you can increase your price by approx 40 euros per person - but this still could be cheaper than other carriers.
#2
Its the usual Ryan air "sale"... you get the actual flight for about a fiver.

Then add on baggage and airport check in, and it jumps up to over £60.
Still cheap, but they should just state those charges as part of the price.
#3
Its not easy linking a departure with a return in, eg... 3, 5, 7, 14, days for £5.00. However still V Hot particularly if your just looking for one way.

I have used FR around 20 times now, as long as you take a small suitcase.. ie a cabin one your ok upto 20kg..

Ideal for a weekend away..

ALSO,.. remeber to use a VISA ELECTRON card for no card charges..

Agreed.
Ryanair are perfect if you are a someone travelling without children, only want to take a minimum of clothes, want to check in online, and posess a visa electron card.

For the rest of us it starts out cheap and then soon jumps up in price.

Don't get me wrong, this is still a hot deal if you fit the criteria, it just bugs the hell out of me that the price changes so much if you choose the "add ons"

Oh for the love of God, fly with BA if you hate Ryanair, then you'll find out what overcharging and bad service really mean!
You may as well get on a thread about a Travelodge sale and moan about the lack of room service. You CAN get return flights for £2.50 (each way) with no more to pay if you want. If you choose to check in a the airport, take hold luggage, skis and a herd of wildebeest with you they charge more as everyone knows.:-D
Hot deal.

Good deal - Bristol to Milan is £10 return for two adults. Like everyone says, add-ons etc. bump the price but it's still much cheaper than anywhere else even with these add-ons.

Anyone know the proper dates?

I tried booking the 2nd of May and it said it was 1p then added £40 tax.
#12
Going to have to get me a Visa Electron card, £10 - £30 if I dont have one.
Great deal though, thanks.

If a deal was posted on here to the effect that a major high street bank branch was going to hand out a million pounds in cash to anyone who turned up next Tuesday, you can bet that among the first five responses we would get:

One person moaning how they couldn't get there on a Tuesday, so what good is that
Another saying "But they won't give you a bag to put it in or any transport, and a million pounds is heavy and bulky".
And a third saying "I would never use (whatever bank it is) after (random past bad experience).

I love this place.:-D

In the last offer of 1p flights we got a group of 17 of us away to Belfast for 34p return, all traveling with hand luggage, not having to pay any airport tax and avoiding all the extra charges. it can be done.
#15
Brilliant. Now going to Alicante from Bournemouth for 6 days.. total cost for 2 people £22.00 including priorty boarding at both ends.

I bought some 1p flights (had no choice re alternatve carriers as it is freinds holiday) and the flights cost 4p, the total taken off my card was over £240.00 )

I got one from the post office, called a travel money card. card free, you pay to load it. I use just for Ryanair flights. got money back on first use. so would recommend it.

No you shouldn't because a lot of people will fly at the £2.50 price - its like saying when giving the price of a car, the price quoted should include all the optional features whether they want them or not.

Last time I flew I had to pay the check-in and baggage fees, but I'd estimate approximately half the people on the plane went through with the printed online check-in thing.

I agree with mikehooch - try and find something cheaper and stop moaning

Stone cold for me for the usual Ryan air hassles

You've picked a pretty popular beachside Airport location there + deals been going a while now so probably unfortunately sold out for that destination.

You would also have a 4th person complaining about the half a million extra charge imposed by the bank to collect your free cash.
#33
Can ANYONE tell me why when you select online checkin, no bags, no priority boarding and no insurance, it costs £20 EACH to check in?!??!

That, plus £30 card brings it to £80 for £10 total flights

can you post a screen? It works here

Oh I'm sorry, but why should they quote optional extras/charges as part of the price.

I have just booked my wheelchair bound friend and his carer a flight to come and visit me in Alicante, Spain, total cost £2.50 each, no more, no less. Hand luggage, electron etc.

He wouldn't have had a holiday this year if it wasn't for Ryanair. Neither he nor I could have afforded normal air fares for him. He flew with Ryanair several times last year and was more than happy with the service.

This is a great deal, thank you op. Now just need to find some cheap fares to get him back home again :)

Worth checking ALL dates, just got Bournmouth-Girona, whitsun week, which is supposidely blacked out, for £2.50. £22 to come back so under £25 for a week.

If you don't have an Electron card worth setting an account up at Entropay.com. You can load a virtual Electron card from your normal debit card. They charge just under 5%, so 50p per tenner, a lot cheaper than RAs fees for using cards.
