New period drama The Crown, starring Claire Foy and Matt Smith, launches this Friday 4th November on Netflix – and you can watch it on Radio Times thanks to a special gift offer with this week's issue.

It’s easy to claim – no payment required, no card details taken, and it works if you're an existing Netflix subscriber too.

The printed edition of the Radio Times contains a unique code rather than a generic code that anyone can use.

Bought a copy a few hrs ago from tesco. Just tried it and it doesn't work! :( SERIOUSLY you people nicking the codes off other honest (paying) people and have justified it to yourselves are utter SCUM! It might seem a small thing but you're the very thing that's wrong with society.

So you'll basically steal it from the poor sap who buys the magazine after you've pilfered it?

Ok, I've bit the bullet and bought a 2nd copy. Applied the code and yes they appear stack able.

My Netflix account now showing £14.98 in credit.

Bought a couple more copies this morning, credit applied. That's it for me now. If they take the credit away, worse case senario is I've bought a copy of Radio Times.

If you are on your moral high horse only stay on if you have never ever exploited a glitch or misprice, they have worse consequences than my act. The ones who stay on can judge me. However be prepared to be asked why you are so angry about this? What makes you so righteous to pass judgement? It does conflict with some of the reasons for this site. Have you ever noticed how fast some deals become 'hot', a majority are a glitch or misprice to be exploited. I bet you this one falls into that category.

NO IT DOESN'T!!!! WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU? YOU ARE SO LOW YOU CAN'T EVEN UNDERSTAND IT! This is NOT a price "glitch" or a "misprice" you have not taken advantage of a giant company like Amazon. You have stolen from a normal customer like me. Instead of having some integrity you stole the code rather than buy it (and still have a good deal). The fact you still can't get this through your head shows how gutter low you are!

Good spot Op, do you know or anyone know if it's OK to add this to the 1 months free trial and also where to get the Netflix voucher cards so I don't have to give bank card details? cheers ;)

You can buy Netflix gift cards in most larger supermarkets, but GAME also have them as well. You can always pay with PayPal if you don't want to give out bank details.

PayPal is as bad as giving card details. I had a quarrel with paypal long time ago where they would not stop payments to a rogue subscription service. I threatened to cancel my PayPal account completely, only then they stopped the payments to something I did not want but was being billed and there was no time contract etc

I was a bit worried this would happen when I'd bought mine! Code worked fine though

Pretty good, rang the old man as he gets it delivered and £7.49 off next months sub. Nice.

Just bought magazine. Last time I bought the radio times was about Christmas 2000.

Unique codes on inside cover. Added to my existing subscription and under account details, it says £7.49 credit will be applied to my next bill.

Based on W1zz's post a couple up. He's been credited £7.49 which is 2 screens + HD
#33
Has anyone tried to see if it's stackable? :)
#34
Bought one copy. The code is just inside the front cover. The magazine is not sealed so you could pinch it if that is your sort of thing. Anyone bought multiple magazines and been able to use the codes on one Netflix account??
#35
Yep, I was wondering whether it's stackable too?

Who's going to be brave enough to try ?
#36
Thanks for this - I subscribe to the RT, and I'd totally overlooked this in today's issue.

does the £2.30 refer to the cost of the RT? is it still a weekly? Jeez, last time we bought the RT we used to get the TVT too, about 65p each.
we still buy the Christmas RT or TVT but even then I thought it was only £2 last year. I must be getting old, or tight, or miserable. definitely 2, maybe all 3. oO
