i wonder whether the free cart (paper also free) qualifies as your first purchase though with quidco? good find even without the quidco though
#2
Nice find with Quidco & all. Ordered my free one!
Ink is expensive though for Epson, much cheaper on Ebay

The registration page where you have to enter your credit card details is not secure...

I made an order in December through Quidco, just for the free one....the 9.00 was paid at the end of January.
Bad news was.... they sent the wrong ink cartridge and i couldn't be bothered to send it back.

I got this, tracked and paid quite quickly on quidco. Printer doesnt like the ink cartridge though. But not bothered, still got quidco for nothing!

Someone mentioned this on MSE or on here the last time this offer was up. The registration and checkout pages are secured but doesn't show because the page uses frames.

If you open a link to checkout in a new tab or window, the frames should be removed so you can see the checkout/registration pages are at https:// instead of http:// and the all hallowed padlock icon will make an appearance in your browser.

The freebie is not for HP printers right?

alternatively, you can basically get a 1GB SD card for a quid... (with Quidco)
SD memory card,
1 GB for £ 6.95 + I think it was £2.99 postage.
Good card - Made in Japan Kingston.

Great find,Thanks OP.

I did this two days ago and the £9 is already validated to my quidco account.
#19
Am I right in thinking you get £6 totally free then? Or have I misunderstood this
#20
How do you register?
#21
Suffice to say I did this the last time it was posted here about 9 months ago - after a lot of hassle it was validated but the money has never ever been forthcoming. Beware.
#22
No straight answers - except above response - so I 'll pass on this :)

Just because it doesn't say HTTPS in the address bar does not mean it isn't secure.

Here's a tip for online security:

Right click the page and choose properties, now look for encryption in the properties listed.

There you go a secured page even though it doesn't have HTTPS :whistling:

Free photo paper (always useful) & postage (£2.99) then £9 back

So..... £6.01 + photo paper for free
What's not to like?
Oh, quidco validated within 10 minutes
#25

Ink Club have been a bit rubbish for me! I signed up via Quidco before Christmas and blagged the £9 referral as well as the free ink cartridge for my Epson Stylus D92. They sent me the wrong ink catridge twice.

Tried again a few weeks later. And guess what? Wrong ink cartridge for my printer again!

Can't be bothered to try for third-time-lucky!

Click on a printer that doesn't offer a free cartridge, for example. the hp 950c. You will find the free paper there.

Don't understand why this can be voted cold? If your printer isn't there, or you don't want to risk receiving the wrong ink, take the paper.

Thanks got black ink for CX3200 for £2.99 and as you say Quidco £9 too.
