the chicken style burgers have been on for a couple of weeks, they taste great in a wrap with some lettuce and caesar dressing!

Quorn fillets are a pound in tesco too
#7
Brilliant. I'll be going there tomorrow to stock up, especially the mince and chicken pieces.

Rather than the mince, just buy TVP from a health food shop.

Great spot, thanks. The chicken is IMHO the best "meat" substitute around. Far superior to many other non-meaty meats. If you have not tried it - take a gamble. At worst £1 wasted. I could never be a veggie/vegan for more than a couple of days or so until all products were of the Quorn chicken standard.

The Quorn mince is awful - avoid! Good price for the rest though!

I did try that once but I wasn't keen, the texture didn't sit right with me. I'm actually planning on making on a Quorn shepherd's pie tomorrow so this is very well timed.

the quorn pieces are actually a little bit cheaper in morrisons as they are on offer at half price so about 98p. only 2p but its 2p in your pocket
#15
Quorn Mince is only 80p in Morrisons at the moment!

Doubly agreed. The mince was really a bit plappy, and whilst TVP can be a bit odd texturewise, if you marinade it in garlic herbs and red wine and stock etc, its far preferable imo.

Quorn chickeny things nice though.

I loved the linda mcartney mince, but it seems to have disappeared. Realeat chicken style pieces are great too. Great price for Quorn tho.....if only they would stop using egg and milk in their staple products!

Not keen on the way Quorn mince swells up either, but it made a good cottage pie the other night.

I think Tesco's own brand veggie mince was better myself.
