But go through QUIDCO and they'll give you back £35 on that offer.

That means you'll have spent £9.54 for the complete package for one year. Not bad eh? :)

Ahh - sad to see this getting colds..

..is this not a good deal? :)

.net and .eu are as desirable as .coms now - especially in Europe. Looked like a good un to me :)

i aint voted but my guess would be your title is not good about the price people just think we'll get all that for £9.54 and as normally people write the price with and without QUIDCO and you also wrote QU most people dont realise you mean QUIDCO as the whole word iss usually written and when your scan reading you miss it - cause thats what happened to me lol

It seems a good deal, but the company was one of the worst I've ever had to deal with unfortunately.

Aaah -that's a shame. i've bought a good 10 to 12 domains from them and never had a problem. I suppose for every good there's a bad...

I currently use this compnay for my hosting package and must say I have never really had a problem with them.
Mind you I have never had reason to contact them:roll:

Is there a minumum contract term with this deal?

Yep, it's the usual for this type - one year (which you're paying through this anyway). After that (or actually just before the end) you can cancel.

I have a feeling that they dont automatically renew - but rather send you a letter just before the end date asking whether you wish to. Might be wrong though...

I can't actually find this deal on their site.

Nearest I can find is GBP5.67pm(inc) which includes 3 .uk domains. How do I navigate to this deal?

Looks like sub-domains are allowed but can homepages in the webspace be created for any domains at 1&1 or only for the ones included in the package?

I trust that the "included" domains can be retained if one cancels the hosting package.

I had loads of problems with 1&1. I cancelled my hosting package and told them to remove any of my personal details.
They then charged my credit card 3 months later to renew the hosting fees. When I asked they refused to give it back saying that I hadn't filled in the correct form (followed by them saying they didn't recieve any forms) so I had to tell the credit card company that it was an unauthorised debit and got it back that way.

They've been threatening to take me to court for nearly 2 years, which they can if they want as I have a copy of the fax I sent stating that I was terminating the contract and they were to remove my details, along with the fax report saying when they received it.

I have cleared cache and turned off my hosts file but still can't get to this deal.

Can anyone tell me how to find it?

Yes, certainly. Go here:

http://www.quidco.com/1and1/

and make sure you're logged into QUIDCO before clicking through to 1and1 from the link provided on the page. The Business package should be listed in the table...

...hope this helps.

P.S. remember to choose a .org or a .eu and it'll be cheaper...I think the .co.uk and .coms are much more expensive.

You have not read the detail correctly.

The initial payment is for just 6 months!
£4.82 *6 = 28.92
.eu domain = 8.99 (for a year)
Sub-Total = 37.91
VAT = 6.63
Total = 44.54 as you claimed.

BUT the next 6 months cost (4.82*6)*1.175 = 33.98 so the total cost for the first year is £78.52 (and then deduct Quidco).

This is simply their "Save £50" (before VAT) offer that runs until 2nd January (the 5.67pm that I mentioned) - so not anywhere near as hot as your post claimed.

One could get a .com domain free for the first year and then sign up for the "Save £50" deal to get the package for about £68.

BTW, .uk domains are just £2.99pa (exc) so are cheaper than .com

in that case I'll get my coat.
