i saw these in tesco hookwood yesterday and they were £1, so they have either gone down again or its store specific depending on what stock they have left? still hot either way.

LOL
Got some of these last week when they were £1 a go at Thirsk Tesco's. They taste like burgers, kids love them, short of making your own up with fresh ingredients, (who can afford that everyday, not the people who use this site i am sure!) ,you will never get a burger that can be free of preservatives, etc, at this price you will never get any better burger.

They don't have an ingredients list on them, seriously! I guess anyone who pys 50p for 850g beef knows that they don't want to know or care whats in there - lol

Hey, from the website, they don't look that bad:

Ingredients
Beef (86%), Water, Breadcrumbs (Wheat Flour, Yeast, Salt), Salt, Black Pepper, Preservative (Sodium Metabisulphite), Chilli Powder (Chilli, Cumin, Salt, Oregano, Garlic), Ginger, Mace, Bay, Rosemary, Thyme.

I saw these yesterday at 50p, but they looked bright pink. So I bought some for the dog, and even he shoved his nose up at them.

I would rather eat a kebab than those things. :p

I specifically told my family not to buy them. They look so nasty.

these do look pretty nasty, i didnt tell my family not to buy them though lol, the costco ones are much nicer looks wise as ive not actually tasted them;-)
#12
They work fine as cheap filler for a BBQ and they taste fine.
#13
I saw these on the shelf and picked them up at £2 but you can see the quality is naff . Wouldn't buy at 50p either but won't vote either way.
#14
Called to 2 different branches and they are £2 instead of £4 so muct be store specific .

Meat oR no Meat?

Seriously though - 50p or £2 burgers are both crappy and will be full of rubbish. At least this way you dont pay through the nose for crap meat. Hot from me.

Why does everything have garlic in ?

They seem to add it to everything now...........is it the law or something ?

i had some of these burgers last week and thought they were nice so if you can get them at this price i think they're a bargain

I saw these today at the Tesco near Gatwick - they had them on display at the the front of one of the aisles for 2quid or something, but I first noticed them for 59p in the reduced section.
Honestly, I could not eat these things. yes they're very cheap, but they look rancid.....like they've been squeezed out of a tube and formed into patties. each to their own, I guess

we had these at a bbq on sunday and they went down well, agreed you get the worse part of the cow in it but like kebabs after a few beers they taste bootiful.

that's true man it's a burger at the end of the day,so what if it has mashed up bone & fat in it, the hospital is only around the corner.

They are still £2.00 in the Middlewich store.
They never seem to have any bargains that you see on this site.

it made some noise as i spat it out onto the plate like a small piece of gravel & this wasn't the cheapest of burgers. What the point of eating burgers with high fat content.

By the way does anyone no the technical name of the fat on the human body that turns hard & can only get rid of by operation.

Just picked these up from Tesco Milngavie- had loads left but the use by dates today, alright to put in the freezer though- i got 3 packs of them... For 50p total bargain, moaners can go and pay more money for them if they want but i'll be sticking with these :)
