You need to buy a pack of 10 BiC Cristal Medium Black pens and keep proof of purchase for claiming. Best price i could find after a quick google was £2.09 for 10 @ staples (but they are BOGOF :) )

The BiC® Cristal® Medium allows you to ramble on like no other pen.

We’re so confident about how far it writes, we’ll give you £10 just for finishing one.
Reading the [email protected]'s it appears you can send upto 10 pens in so a WHOOPING £100???

Recent research tells us The BiC® Cristal® Medium takes you up to 2 x further than other usual ball point pens, so finishing one won’t be easy.

Whether you’ve been scribbling notes or you’ve penned a masterpiece, we’d love to see how you do it – send us your results for our gallery.

But more importantly, send us your empty pen. And we’ll send you a tenner.

Sounds like a lot of work for £8!!! lol
Not really, especially if you have a nearly empty bic @ work, you only need to buy the promotional pack to get the claim form, Besides if you have nothing better to do @ work lol. . . . . . . . .
The terms and conditions say it has to be one of the pens from the pack, so I suspect that they have changed the pen slightly so they can tell. I'm sure that they have sussed that people have empty pens out there. In fact I have a totally empty one that I kept because it was the first one that I actually finished rather than lost or broke...
This was posted a few months ago and started some real heated discussion on here.

I would hazard a guess that they know how long it takes to write that much. So if you bought a pack with today's date on the receipt, washed all the ink out and submitted the claim tomorrow they'd label you as a cheat.
this is great for managers or teachers. give each of your staff or pupils a pen and ask them to write a report or draw a diagram or something, and keep on doing it until the pen runs out, then send all the crap to bic and get your £100 to spend in the pub away from staff and kids
just put then in your shirt pocket they will soon be empty, (but you would need to buy a new shirt proberly costing more than £8)
I bet you'll get 98% through and the thing will stop writing with ink left.

you can send all 10 back when empty, So isn't that £100 - £2.09 = £97.91 rather than £8 ?
Chewing it invalidates the claim, so don't do it!
Haha great deal, if you can finish the pen without losing it first that is! :D
Bic Website says :

Your pen must turn up in one piece and not be damaged in transit – we can’t be responsible for any that are. Providing the guidelines above are met, we’ll send you a cheque for £10 for each pen within 28 days. Only one claim per address.

So £10 per pen - amazing if true...
i love the lamp, ive been considering making one for a whilst, the chandelier is great
"The Application may only be sent 30 days after the date of purchase of the Promotional Product shown on the proof of purchase."
Hmmmm.... set up a roll plotter paper in the lathe at work, rig up a clamp to hold the pen and set it on its way :p
anyone received any cheques is this for real
yes love i recieved a ninty pound chk but i dont understand i sent mine within the month but in the terms and condition it says send it after 30 days of purchase.

Lucky you hey good on ya ;)
I am keen to do this to raise some fund raising for a Big Issue Bike Ride from London to Paris. Unfortunately I have not been able to find the promotional pens anywhere. If anyone sees any in London, please can they post here the shop and the location.

Many thanks
