had some canny deals off them tbh. as long as you pay before the interest kicks in it comes in handy at times.

Do they actually give 'cash back' as per title, or just a credit to your account?

see #1

it says you get credit on the account if you click through on the page ....that's not the same as cashback in your pocket

Going to query Very tomorrow if the credit comes off the outstanding balance on your account, if so a £619 device would give £61.90 credit, so using the Take 3 option to pay in 3 interest free month instalments, makes the phone £557.10. With two payments of £206.33 and one of £144.44.

In all I reckon this is a pretty good deal, the devices are hipped directly from Apple, so that's a little bit of good news.

Heat added from me! :)

EDIT - Quidco looks good too, 7% for new customers, so around £43 if they pay against the full price, or £36 if it's ex. VAT. Great stuff!

Heat from me. For those not supporting the deal HUKD policy is that they ask for a reason and proof of a better deal? Otherwise base your vote on the solid facts of this deal v's a better deal. Thanks OP for your input.

I bought a laptop on a similar deal from very last year - took a screen shot of the offers just incase, but the 10% was applied to my account with no problems, and I've just settled the balance nearly a year later to avoid the interest. It says on your statement when the buy now pay later comes to an end

The problem is Harvey that man have had experience with very customer service, 2 months no item, no apology, no refund? fine if it goes well but if it goes wrong dont expect any help. 10% is o.k but just ask a student friend to get it from unidays site for %15 off and then you get it cheaper and dont deal with very.

for a large retailer that is shocking.

What would happen if I purchased an iPhone through buy now pay later but paid the full amount of before the 21st of January. Would I be sent a refund of the credit to my bank account as it clearly couldn't be reduced off the amount I'd have to pay (if this makes sense)

Best to pay it after the 21st to make sure it goes on. Then clear it.

I read that as well, perhaps the T&Cs have changed since szaman81 got his iPhone?

Hi, did you confirm with Very that the credit comes off the total owed? If you ordered, how quick was delivery? It says up to 3 days, but if it's from Apple direct it should be quicker?

Thanks.

Very stated that the discount is applied as account credit, and this is applicable to outstanding balances, allowing transfer to BNPL too.

Delivery was 2 days from ordering, shipped directly from the UK via RMSD. :)

Looks like it finished, sadly. It's a shame really as this was great deal, and it got voted cold, when it should of been as hot as the fiery pits of hell! Then again this site is broken in cases like this, as people vote cold with out reading the deal or understanding it. :(
#36
They understand it just fine, apple gets a rough ride (by people who have not owned apple products) and Very get a rough ride because they are terrible in every way.

Ha.. well I've never owned an Apple product, the phone is for the Mrs. I'd never buy Apple unless they started to offer much better VFM! I'm happy with my old N7105, cracking on for 3 years old now. :)

As for Very, only used then two/three times in the past can't say my experience was any worse than companies like Rakuten, Vodafone or Virgin Media.

Thats what i couldnt understand. I think people vote cold for the sake of it. It was a cracking deal tbh. Not very often you can get the latest apple products with a discount.

if i dont get it il be closing my account with them and iv spent a couple of grand with them ove the last 18months.

also seems they are adding a buy now pay later fee on all bnpl deals from now on. greed will be their downfall in the end and its a good way of loosing customers pulling sly stunts like this. lets wait and see.
