Thank you. Have just ordered them for my daughter. Trouble is I ordered a few other things as well. Oh well. Broke again!! Used the FREEPP156 no problem at all.

Thanks - really good value - no problem with FREEPP156 code.

Some (if not all) of these books are actually pretty/really good - better than some of the episodes, dare I say it? (I'm not knocking the new TV episodes - I'm just trying to say how good some of the books actually are!)..

The only slight quibble I had with these books is that they're clearly aimed at the TV "target" audience - a younger (teenage) audience - as opposed to the Virgin/BBC novels I enjoyed in the years between the end of the old and the launch of the current TV series.

The main difference (aside from slightly less adult content) is the length - I had to limit myself to a chapter a night otherwise I'd have rattled through a book in a couple of hours - and I'm not exactly a speed-reader.. Oh, and the fact that they were more expensive than the other novels.

That said, at this price you really, REALLY can't complain - buy 'em, and look forward to uttering the words "Why didn't they keep this for a TV episode?!?!"

Cheers,
Gerard

Thanks for this. All my daughter wants for presents over the last year or so is 'Dr Who stuff', and was starting to run out of ideas.

This is also available via The Book People's "School link" scheme.
This means that the school signs up for the scheme, all the parent's get a catalogue & the school get 10% of the total order value back as book tokens.
Full details are available at www.schoollink.co.uk

Although it means we miss out on buying via cashback schemes they do offer an option of "Free delivery to school"
(Total only needs to exceed £50 per order....for the entire school if they order in one go) & you're helping the school at the same time.
