The Market has developed a city wide reputation thanks to it seasonally changing, locally sourced a la carte menu. For starters we love the succulent smoked breast of duck, served with a grape and walnut salad and raspberry vinaigrette (£6.95). For main course you can’t go wrong with the fantastic rump of Welsh lamb, best served pink with a honey and thyme gravy (£17.95) or the pan-fried salmon, served on a bed of fresh pasta and citrus crème fresh sauce (£16.95). Both main courses come complete with the chef’s selection of vegetables and potatoes so you even without your 60% Groupon you’re guaranteed not to feel short changed.
