yes unless you take you own, it is just easyer for me to pay £10 for it ,because there in so many of us, it would cost more then that to wash my own beding when we get home. plus we can back on the friday and go to butlins on the monday which cost £220 so this deal it a super deal, i have added rep for this

My Advice read Trip Advisor first stayed at Hemsby last year ,Dirty and very dated it was like staying in a Prison .Fine if you want a Retro Holiday 1970's and the worst thing was we upgraded...
#15
If you are thinking about this please do read the reviews. We had a free 4 days in July with another offer. The apartments was rank, sticky carpets, beds are terrible. Free was too expensive.

lmao, but for same it is the only hoilday thay will be getting this year ,and same people just need a brake at a price that any one can afford

OMG I can't believe they are charging £10 for 4 nights - after our stay at Southport there is no way I would ever pay £10, its a rip off IMO!! The thought of the place, the filthy and dirty accomodation is making my skin crawl, yuk.

By the way, we didn't pay for bedding and when we got there I viewed 4 or 5 apartments and every single one, from budget up to classic all had bedding already in the rooms, so I wouldn't pay your £10 now, see if its there when you get there.

Also, don't put any money in for electricity, chances are there is already credit and you won't need to top it up, we used just 20p worth in 3 days.

But really, check out previous threads on here and see if you really want to take this sort of holiday, honestly they are not like your average holiday camp Haven/Bultlins/Park Resorts etc :w00t:

Our Southport Pontins holiday was free and we still felt ripped off :whistling:

OMG what are some people like on here, great holiday just use the chalet as a base there's always sooo much to do at these places especially if you like seeing your kids happy,
#20
Even if apartments are a little dated its great for a get away for families that dont have much money to spare on holidays.
And dont forget the £20 pontins pounds....i assume you can use this in the shops at pontins?? or elec?
#21
£25 at camber sands for 5 people
just use as a base peeps
ge8 value

Think KIm & Aggie from c4 how clean of you house go to Pontins Camber Sands every year , their ideal holiday

Will probably be lots of forces personel & their familes their during this time as 2500 of these weekend breaks were given away free to returning servicemen/women from Afganistain & Iraq (My cousin for one)
see http://www.hotukdeals.com/item/210932/free-hols-are-given-to-our-heros/

Was going to go myself but after reading some of the reviews think will give it a miss.
Was last their in 1997 probably get to sleep on the same bedding.

The swimming pool was good as well as the beach. Most of the rest of the resort was a bit dated but we had a good time.

I went to Hemsby in June and it was great. Not dirty at all. The only bad thing I noticed while I was there were the few numpties who were complaining about nothing, probably just trying to get something for nothing plus more.

The Hemsby area is really good too lots of things to do if you are taking the kids
#24
just booked camber sands
two budget rooms for £20
and £20 pontins cash back
so nothing at all
sweet
#25
I rang Pontins who say the code is weekdays only.

Anybody managed to use it for a long weekend by any chance?
#26
Not bad if you want to get away and don't mind filthy accommodation. Staff were nice when we went (only managed to stay 1 night out of the 4 booked as we found it awful). Camber Sands has a great beach a short walk away.

yeah might be alot to do but you ever stayed at some of these places we took our kids and not fussy atall we look as it as a break for cheap prices its only a room although we paid £200 for our break but when we got there it was really really filthy i mean toilet has mess all on inside and outside and place was just filthy, and i havent got high standards aslong as its clean which it defianatly wasnt anywhere near that, infact they spoilt our break as we came home same day!!!

:!: Trust me - do NOT go to Pontins Camber Sands. It is absolutely shocking.

As people above said, we only managed one night and that was because we arrived too late to find alternative accomodation.
#29
I challenge anyone to find a place that charges £2.50 a night stay. I can't say I've ever been to Pontins, it probably isn't my sort of thing but I'm sure some friends and I could have a bit of a fun in and around the camp.

£2.50 per night is a bargain, in a few years time people will be paying a premium to go back in time and live like they did in the 70's :D
#30
omg is it really that bad at pontins camber sands? Am going there in 2 weeks, Im really worried now!!!
#31
people always find a reason to moan, moan and moan some more. im sure theyre fine
#32
Camber sands have a very nice beach !

I won a weekend break for Pontins Southport last year and it was 'OK' and for £10 for 4 nights it is rightly a hot deal.I would also advise that it is very basic and looks like it hasnt been updated since the 80's!
If you have kids it is worth it but if the cost would have been £20 for 4 nights i would have seriously considered it first!
I am trying to be as objective as i can but i would suggest be as open minded as you can before you sample the Pontins experience!

no offence but unless youve actually been dont comment it is actually that bad!!!

i cannot beleive people are moaning, can you please tell me where on earth you can get a holiday for ten pounds? i went on the southport last time, and ill tell you what, the kids had a fantastic time, for people on a budget this is fantastic,i really cant see how the hell people can complain when theyve paid next to nothing for a holiday, some people are paying £350 for the privlidge moan then yeh by all means but ffs!!!!! at the end of the day the camp can be used as a base,ok not modern and up to date but ill tell you what, children appreciate a holiday no matter what!

oh and p,s they give you the bedding anyway, whever or not you pay for it and we got free electric last time when we were there as the meter was ******ed.

i have added heat as well, this is a fantastic offer and very good of pontins to do these things especially for parents that cant afford to take theyre children on holiday.
#38
When my son was younger and we were strapped for cash, Pontin`s, Camber Sands was our holiday destination. To pay £10 for 4 nights for 4 people and with £10 Pontin`s pounds thrown in must be worth a break. If the weathers good, you can go to the beach, it wasn`t the cleanest of places but not that bad that we came home. If you`ve got young children, there`s plenty for them to do and if your children are happy, it gives you a bit of a rest. Well worth a go

just booked 2 chalets for the family thanks

I understand your point and a valid one at that.
What i would say about this thread though is that its mainly about peoples experiences and how they rate it.
For an unbiased view i would recommend if still available to take advantage of the offer and make your own mind up.
Because of the current climate it is INCREDIBLE value.
Me personally i have been and would NEVER go back again and mine was free!
