Just had a letter from Halifax credit card , as follows:

Use your Halifax credit card to spend £125 a month or more in both October and November 2007 and we will give you £10 cashback ,says it will be paid into your account.

WIN £1000

Simply make one purchase of £50 or more between 1st Sept and 31 dec 2007 and recieve an entry to win £1000 .Also once you have made a £50 purchase between these dates EVERY purchase after then (no minimum shows)qualifys you for an extra entry to win £1000.

If you have a Halifax credit card you cant go wrong . Dont forget though,if you dont clear the balance on your card all the extra purchases will probably cost you more than £10 in interest .

Something for nowt ,thats what i like !

Thanks for reposting simon149 :)

Better to have the title as £10 cashback on £125 spend ... IMO !
I saw this posted this morning but was going to read it more tonight but the thread was deleted for some reason?

Will have to remember to do this!
does this apply to the amazon credit card, thru halifax ?

Would be great if it did...:)

Well, I got the letter too and I don't have any "proper" Halifax cards (just the Amazon and Smart Car cards - the letter doesn't mention which account it relates to). I would have thought, therefore, that it applies to any card issued by Halifax, including the Amazon one. Unless anyone else knows for sure?
I have a Halifax card (and have had it for some years) yet no letter... what gives?
hmm i got a halifax cc as well but no letter :(
I'm a Halifax CC holder and no letter here either, as there's no mention of it on the website I am wondering if it only applies to those that have got the letter.
