The last offer was about 2 weeks ago, so it hasn't been advertised since then.

We love the M&S £10 meal deals. If only they supplied Dervla Kirwan's orgasmic voiceover as well.

Thanks for the heads up!

The chocolate puddings are vile though! lol
#7
Doesn't sound bad - but could you not make your own deal like this in any supermarket? I have never got the M&S bug that seem's to infect mainly women. They always seemed just expensive branding...
#8
Great! Can't wait!
I loved the Choc puddings, and so did my fella who doesn't usually have a sweet tooth.
I added some fresh raspberries with it which i would highly reccommend!
#9
the pork medallions were absolutely delicious last time!!
#10
Not bad, but you can easily get the same kind of bait from asda for aboot £7! Small portions and cheap wine, canny for a treat tho!

Depends what you buy I guess.

You could just about get a large chicken and a bottle of wine for a tenner at Asda.

So effectively you got a free pudding (all of which were very nice) and a free veg. (salad bowls were particulary good)

I am sure this offer is closed now?

To give you an idea of the offer last time I got a chicken was priced 6.70 (half price so should be £13.40) it was big enough to feed 6 for a roast dinner, veg pack £3, dessert £3 and wine £6.50 all for £10 so a fantastic offer and there chickens are Free Range

Meals:
- Lochmuir salmon with soya glaze - delicious!
- Lochmuir salmon fishcakes
- Pork medallions with cider and bramley apple sauce
- Chicken breast with caesar melt and proscuitto
- vegetable moussaka
- Oakham whole chicken extra large (more than 2kg) - was already half price, so used to cost like £8 alone before!

Sides:
- caesar style vegetable salad - is really nice!
- tenderstem broccoli
- house salad
and perhaps some potatoes, they were not on the shelves, but there was their price tag...

Desserts:
- 2 creme caramel
- 2 raspberry & strawberry cheesecakes
- 2 lemon souffles
- 2 melting middle chocolate puddings
- 2 fresh mixed fruit tarts

Wines:
- red: classic claret Bordeaux 2006 - I think it is the same than last time, not very good IMO
- rose: california Zinfandel 2007 - definitively the same than last time, is nice
- dry white: Garganega Pino Grigio del veneto 2007

Really looks like something I wrote a couple of weeks ago...
It doesn't hurt to thanks the guy that did the listing, does it?

Still hot for me, but I have the impression the food on offer is less 'attractive' each tile they re-do the offer.

Delicious,

well worth it - I second that the pork medallions were delicious last time, as were the lemon souffles!

this may true as i work for m and s and we noticed extra bulk amount of certain wines coming into store.
the food listed above is incorrect as that was the food they had last time and m and s never have the same meal plan twice over.
however in the store i work in we got told there will be ne every weekend throughout july however this hasnt happend yet so for all i know the info you have could be due to change and due to supplie issues.
#18
it will be from 24th to 27th if it happens

what is it, it doesnt make sense does it mean you can buy stuff in the supermarket for £10 total or you can eat in for £10?

This is not a restaurant offer.

M&S offer customers a special selection of food and wine to be included in the £10 offer. The selection will be something similar to those in the original post above. They are clearly marked that they are part of the special £10 offer.

You choose one item from each section (main course, dessert, wine etc) and pay just £10 for the lot.

A good deal, as the stuff they offer costs far more than £10 usually, and is excellent quality.

Nice to see that HUKD's usual band of retards have marked this as expired.

Yeah, exactly right - especially when the thread clearly states that it doesnt start until 24 July!! There are some Kn*bs out there and i wish they would stay clear of this site (they are probably the same ones that keep voting 5p off Muller yoghurt deals as hot, ha!

We got some great big chickens in this offer too. The chickens aren't free range - but they are from the type of 'high welfare' barns which are considered good by the RSPCA , with hay for the chickens to peck at etc.

Thanks for letting us know the deal

just checking - does it start tomorrow still? Thanks

OP has taken details straight off M&S website - >http://www.marksandspencer.com/gp/browse.html/ref=sc_fe_c_14_82867031_1/203-4036628-9756706?ie=UTF8&node=84381031&no=82867031&mnSBrand=core&me=A2BO0OYVBKIQJM

The OP has posted the menu thats advertised online by M&S word for word, so if it's incorrect maybe worth mentioning internally as you work for them

but the really important question - does it taste as nice as it sounds :) (I was fine until you mentioned cheesecake - MMMmmm :-D )

and yes the food is fab xx

Already sold out of most things when I got there today - only salmon left for mains and fruit salad for desert. A staff member suggested that I could just buy the other courses and claim a £5 voucher at the tills to spend on a main course tomorrow.

Bit disappointing, but nevermind, got some excellent steaks instead.

Meal Deal for £8.61!!

They had ran out of main dishes at Greenock M&S. When I asked manager, I was told I could pick any other main dish and claim a £5 voucher at the till. They didnt give me the voucher to take away, just deducted it from my total, it worked out like this:

Sparkling Rose: £5.49
Cesar Veg: £2.99
Classic fruit salad: £2.99
Chicken with leek & bacon (half price): £2.14

Total: £13.61
- £5
=£8.61

Plus they gave me a free bag for life - bonus!

Never leave anywhere empty handed!
