For anyone who couldnt get their hands on the one I posted @ HB recently, this one is very similar and still a great price.

Check in-store or add delivery.

An ideal first bike for your child with adjustable saddle that is easy to manoeuvre, and very safe as your child's feet always touch the floor. This fantastic balance bike is ideal to help children feel stable and confident on a bike before moving onto the real thing.

Balance bikes have no stabilisers or pedals, helping your child develop balance, co-ordination and confidence before progressing to an ordinary bike.

Helmet sold separately.

Steel frame
Red saddle
Solid plastic rims with EVA foam tyres
Handlebar pad
Front and rear fenders
Conforms to EN-71

Whoa that must be some big kid.
A 10' frame is 10 feet.
Please tell me it should be 10'' or 10 inches.

This post has suddenly got me thinking about my little one needing to wear a helmet on her balance bike that she'll soon be getting.

Handn't given it much thought until I saw the photo in this post and read this, so my toddler will be wearing one outside if she wants to ride it.

Has anyone got any good links for cheap helmets?

Not sure 'cheap' is a good search term for something that you want to use to protect your kid's head.

Found a cheap one. By law it will have to adhere to the British Safety Standards, so cost wise its just down to comfort, styling and the rest is profit margin.

Still not quite sure what danger the toddler could get into, as will be supervised on the balance bike when riding in rthe park... although it has no brakes ... hmmmmmm

We bought the one from Home Bargains for £15.95. It's of slightly better quality and at least it fits together ok!
