You may have heard of a certain xbla game being 1800 points, well here is some alternative for your thrills. Kind of puts it in perspective, no buying of points either. If the 1800 points thing is true (thats £15) THEN HERE are 10 games from various sources that are cheaper, that kind of put it all into perspective :

1) Timeshift .... £9.50 The Game Collection http://www.thegamecollection.net

2) Stuntman Ignition .... £6.99 The Game Collection

3) Forza 2 and Viva Pinata combo .... £9.99 The Game Collection

4) Bioshock ... £11.99 Zavvi http://www.zavvi.co.uk/BioShock/798990/p.jsf

5) Mass Effect £10 at Argos

6) lost odyssey £13.99

7) Crackdown £10.99 Powerplaydirect.com

8) Eternal Sonata £8.99 Woolworths

9) Tomb Raider Legend £4.99 at http://www.game.co.uk

10) Beautiful Katamari £12.99 at http://www.game.co.uk

I could list more, since all games here 2 months old have been slashed hard. Its hard to buy a xbla title for 1800 points (£15) when most 3+ month old games here slashed to below £15 and sometimes £10 (picked up Dark Sector for £14 new). OH yeah, halo 3 was £10.99 as well somewhere.

Maybe it has something to do with Gas (as in heating and cooking gas) has gone up 35% in a single day here.

Of course i'm happy if the 1800 points thing is actually an error and its actually 800 points.

I got to vote this hot just out of the ignorance of MS thinking they can charge around £13 for a old game..... Jokers....

Cold voters don't actually know what this 1800 points thing is about, and should vote hot.

The 1800 price is incorrect. Microsoft will be annoucning the prices on the Monday before each games release.

Yeah why wait now, its such a big PR disaster and backlash they should announce now. I'm glad if its not the case.

Remember when they tried to sell xbox 360 games £50 retail hahaha, how times have changed.

Click on GOTO DEAL to goto Kotaku, who state microsoft have said Braid is incorrect but made no comment on Castle Crashers.
