10 points per £1 at Nectar estores

Just been browsing Nectar estores and it looks like they're running an event of some sort as just about all stores are on 10 points per £1.

Looks like it's on 480 of the 541 stores - thought I'd share as might help someone

Can't see any reference to how long it's running for.

I reckon it must be an error on the website .They always shout about it and bombard you with emails when they do double or treble points ! Don't bank on getting the points -but heat for a good spot .

That's a totally different promotion... :| - that's double up on redemptions, not 10 per £

If you go to the eShops and look at all the retailers doing bonus points, it's on there. Loads doing 10 points per £1

Thanks OP :)

Looks like it's ending 7th July (shows when you click on a retailer)

Its still not particularly exciting. 10 points per £1. So say you spend £1000 at AO.com - thats 10,000 points (woo big numbers), 500 points gets your £2.50 off at sainsburys - so £20 off for that £1000 spend - so 2%. Thats the standard AO.com offer on Quidco and TopCashback - and you can spend what they give you anywhere as its cash.

Nectar points really are pointless.

Surely 10,000 points is £50.00?oO

I think it's 5%, not 2%, which beats Q/tcb on some things like games consoles from Zavvi.

£100 => 1000 points => £5 voucher?

10000 points is definitely £50, as I got that when I bought some insurance through confused.com.

agree that nectar points are pretty crap, although I usually end up with about £20 at the end of the year, without putting in any effort. Better than nothing, I suppose.

you can redeem nectar points on ebay, for anybody who doesn't know. Incase you dont want to use them at sainsbury.

Although in this case, 250% less pointless than you've suggested here with your highly original take on maths

1/2p per point - why oh why is nectar so popular? Took me give years to get £25 of points!

To work out how many points you have, it's points / 500 * 2.5. So 10,000 / 500 = 20 *2.5 = £50. Nectar points can be tricky to get your head around because the conversion for earning and burning is different. You earn two points per pound but when burning, each point is worth .5p

you can also redeem at argos I believe. and double up at pizza express. I've been earning a shed load at e rewards doing surveys. saving for an oven lol.
