Woolworths, B&Q and Netto have all had plastic ones for this price or less in the past month. Woolies and B&Q had 10 stainless steel ones for £14 and £15 respectively.

They sell these for £1 each in the pound shop. They are not brilliant but no worse than other sets I have used.

You really can't throw around prices without backing it up with links

The netto ones (5 weeks ago, sorry not one month):

Stainless steel ones form Woolies:

A quid or so per light is about the right price this time of year.

Ear Ear! Didn't take you long to pick up on it did it?
I've been banging on about the pickers, jobsworths and moaners for ages.

I bought these a few weeks ago when they were £15.00.
They are not brilliant, but they are not bad either.
At this time of year you only get 2 or 3 hours of light from them.
You get much more with the longer days.
A few of mine have filled up with water in the white plastic part but that hasn't stopped them working.
For this price, I think they are worth buying.

But now that someone's had their say, announcing that this was a pound or two cheaper 5-weeks ago this will now get voted cold - and the fact time travel has yet to be invented makes the point totally irrelevant.

It's not irrelevant. It shows other shops have recently been selling their stock for similar prices, and so this is not that special a deal.
