You can get 5 Maxell DL's in jewel cases over in Play for a fiver. Works out better if you want jewel cases.

Good justice.

Too expensive, I mean they are good quality (the best in fact), but Ritek's are good enough now. Still cheap for verbatim.

Seconded.

Ive used bulkpaq oranges with mixed results over the years. Used to be 100% success but now only half or so burn so I avoid them and stick to verbs now. With so many burners/firmwares/disc brands and batches of discs within those brands, give em a try and see what works for you. Ive never found any of my 360's to be picky about what went in them.

Good deal dude

Did a lot of people get banned? Haven't been on XBL for ages. I'll get the latest firmware before going online.
#21
Best disks for burning xbox 360 games.. I would know, used over 100+ vertabims!
#22

They aren't Verbs though.

Thats like saying you can get Asda Smart Price lager cheaper than Stella......

To those who don't know it's generally accepted that Verbs are the best quality DL, they apparently put less stress on the laser in a 360, hence a lot of people prefer them.

I dont think latest firmware will help, Microsoft can tell a modded console now!

I had 1.61 firmware released about a month ago and still got zapped!

Lol @ the people saying 'justice'. They're just annoyed as they pay £39.99 (or £54.99 RRP for MW2 - ROFL) per game. Surely asking £54.99 for a game is unjust? No? I didn't think so. It seems as long as it is legal you consider it just. That's so twisted and naive it hurts.

Bad luck to those that were banned. You can still buy these and play the good SP games offline, mind. Assassin's Creed 2, anyone?

Well that's why I asked, because I don't know. Was wondering if it was just snobbery.

I haven't flashed my xbox anyway so don't need them for playing pirated games.

Yeah I think they maybe detecting the discs:?, as I've had one xbox banned, but my older xbox hasn't been banned and I'm only using originals on it now. I put a backed up game into the unbanned console and it kicked me off live:shock:, so I put an original disc back in quick, and its worked fine since.

Being banned is difficult to take but having your xbox CRIPPLED makes one feel very sad.
Once you are banned you can no longer save games to the HD and your profile gets corrupted you can't progress with achievements on that profile so need to create a new one.

Price is hot now but before ebuyr were doing these a LOT cheaper! Shame the aone ones aren't readily available nowadays

anyone know where these are made?

Why would they be annoyed? They choose not to pirate, it's not like it's particularly difficult to flash a 360. This is a capitalist economy, people charge relative to demand, don't use it to justify being a pirate.

Your saves and achievements are fine if you use your HDD on the banned console. They are corrupted and cannot be transferred to a new HDD, but on the banned 360 everything should work as it should, minus the install to HDD feature.

Mine was banned but not fussed as I was looking to upgrade to an Elite from a sh*t 20GB, so I was lucky. Sure my saves and profiles are goosed, but hey, just means I get to play my old games again in a new profile which in turn will stop me buying any new ones in the near future. Cheers M$. ;-) A solution to the HDD crippling is around, but it's very technical and time consuming, an easier way around it will be developed soon, so just give it time.

Good deal though. Just what I need. :-D

I doubt Amazon will sell the proper Singapore made Verbs. More likely to be inferior India/Taiwanesse Verbs. Better off getting quoted Singapore made Verbs from ebay.

Don't think Stella was the best analogy there as I would probably pick the ASDA one, but we see where you're coming from, perhaps Kronenburg would fit better. :)

Thanks - ordered

Good deal.

The best discs available.

I usually pay 9.99 for these. Price seems to fluctuate between 9.99 and 10.99 throughout the year.

£26 from Sainsburys online on release day - Pretty good for a game most of us will still be playing in another 2 years time.

The rest we usually can pick up for £18 after a few weeks.

Not exactly killing us, although finding time to play them is another issue.

You really think it likely that people who frequent the HUKD forums pay RRP for games?
£55 for MW2? No. I paid less than half that. And I've been online playing it pretty much every day since release. Been having a lot of online fun with your knock off copy?

Edit - beat me to it, DragonChris. Repped ;-)
