£10.00 Vinyl LP deals instore @ Fopp - Kraftwerk, Stevie Wonder, Neil Young etc.

I was in Fopp Union Street, Glasgow yesterday and they had a lot of £10 vinyl LP deals. Considering that most new vinyl issues these days are about £15 or higher, £10 for some classic vinyl albums seems like a bargain. Here's the albums I remember seeing at £10

Kraftewerk: The Man Machine, Trans Europe Express and Radioactivity
Neil Young: Harvest and After The Gold Rush
Stevie Wonder: Innervisions, Music Of My Mind and Talking Book.

A few of these albums were 180g and there were a lot more albums available at £10, but I can't remember what they were (I should have took a pic).

    CHEEPSTUFFRULES!
How come Glasgow get to have 2 Fopps, can they not move one of them down to Newcastle?

Because they're loyal to their heritage - Glasgow is where they started.

I think that is my only problem with these deals, i'm a huge fan of buying music on vinyl but deals like this seem to be for old artists. I was in once and hadn't even heard of most of them. The only stuff I would have considered buying was the Abba reisussues marked at £18 which is too much. I wish they would dedicate more time and space to chart artists and their vinyl releases and release them at decent prices. £31 for Lana Del Reys album? £18 for Ed Sheeran? They could do a bit better.

Having said that, I noticed they were selling the new Garbage album on vinyl for £19, but that came with a copy of the CD anyway, so in effect the vinyl was only about £9.
