I already have one half the size of this which cost £150... that was a PITA to build... But need the space, so ordered this one too... Under no illusions it's going to take 9+ hours to build.

Bear in mind metal is too hot in summer and too cold in winter.

Condensation will drip on stored items and rust or rot them.

Google the problems that uninsulated metal walled sheds have before buying.

Having said this, I am almost tempted, as this is indeed a good bargain.

If it was not for the heat/cold/rust/rot/condensation problem.

the whole point of a shed is to keep your storage items clean dry and rust free and yet this shed does none of that yet you still want to buy it, oh my head hurts

"Base and anchor not included"

so, what would does it attach to? Flags ok or ideally need a concrete base? Or worth looking for one with a base included?

Also, looking at other Apex sheds on Argos, why is this Deluxe?

I have this and it took ages to build and I am an experienced DIYer.

I does suffer from condensation also.
I have my eye on some insulation to sort out the problem for me.

I have not fixed mine down and evn in high winds it has not moved.

Bought this last month when it was £20 more expensive.
Built my own base with 4 x 2 inch wood. Took a long time to build and did a lot of swearing this week whilst doing it.
Ideal if you've got a lot of space around the edges of the shed, but difficult to construct if you're up against fences or other buildings.
Wish someone had mentioned the condensation problem before, I'll see how it goes.

Looks good now it's up and plenty of room for shelves, my pushbike and all garden/diy tools.

Thanks for that info! I've been thinking about getting a shed lately, and settled on metal due to plastic being too expensive- guess I'll have to wait for a good plastic shed deal!

you will need to factor in the cost of a base too if you want to get some years out of it

To be honest, I haven't seen condensation/dripping problems with my existing metal shed. But maybe that's because it is ventilated - screwed down onto 3 wooden pallets. I may invest in a concrete base for this new one - so we'll see what happens.

So, I finally built this at the weekend. One full year after it arrived and lay in my hall for the past 12 months.
