Can somebody tell me what these rooms are like please - the family rooms? I stayed in a Reading Travel Lodge in November in a family room. This consisted of a large double bed (which was very comfortable) and two 'pull out' beds. The pull out beds were rock hard and just looked like a divan base with no mattress on them - is this usual for the Travel Lodge beds for children in a family room - just wondering if they forgot to put any mattresses on them? Thank you.

Hi, for the price, I can't complain about their rooms. I normally use them for overnights at airports or the bracknell one for Legoland. No complaints and a step up from travelodge. More on the side of holiday inn express, I'd say. The family rooms typically have a double and a pullout sofa, in my experience.

do u not get a matress in the cupboard or under the bed or something?
been to premier inn in norwich it was sound, great staff and a pretty decent room to be fair

These rooms are fab for families. We have twin boys and the rooms are very spacious and always clean. We never stay anywhere else if there's a premier inn nearby! Would definitely recommend.
#7
Never any rooms in places where people need them.

This happened to us at a Premier inn in London, we weren't told at booking the kids would be given 'trundle beds', and just mentioned it as we left, had a phone call within 24 hrs to say they would give me a full refund under their good night guarantee.

Perhaps I should have done this as well. I was thinking that perhaps they had forgotton the mattresses, but now seeing you found the same problem, perhaps this is how the pull out beds are. I was going to stay in another Travel Lodge in Swindon in April (son in a martial arts competition), and was hoping that perhaps the Reading Travel Lodge had made an error, but now think I might look at a Premier Inn instead. Thank you.

Stayed at quite a few Premier inns and can see why they " guarantee a good nights sleep" rooms are immaculate , staff are really lovely and I get the best nights sleep ever.... Having said that, I usually only pay £29 for my room, and always stay on a Friday night, total bargain

I'd rather rob the janitor cupboard for sandpaper than steal hotel bog roll.

3.5 mil (if all are sold) for mediocre rooms, in undesirable locations, during the off season... Next year someone will realise the mistake and they'll be cheaper.

I can't seem to find anything for London at this price ?

Hot from me.
We've got a family weekend away booked in a fortnight from their last sale.
The family rooms we've stayed in have always had a single bed pulled out from beneath the double, but it's been just as comfortable.
We only ever stay in Premier Inns as they're so cheap, and I have the best sleep ever in their beds!
Won't be taking advantage of this latest round of offers as we'll have a newborn to contend with.. Eek!

I'd have asked him where Dawn French was. A fat girl and a black bloke. Isn't that what every male's perverse dream is about?
