Wow - p&p seems to be fixed up to 1000 prints, so £12.99 for 1000 prints!

Dave.

Sorry, but £3.99 for 100 prints = 4p per print and not 1p:thumbsup:

I agree that the P&P seems a bit steep for 100 photos, but I think it is fixed, so for higher number of photos the price comes down. Hot deal if you ask me

Anybody ever uploaded 1000 photos for printing?

My photos are generally about 2MB each, so I reckon I would be spending the whole weekend uploading!

1000 prints for £12.99 sounded like a great deal, but I think the practicalities might keep me away ...

Get some free software (Visualizer Photo Resize) that copies & resizes entire directories in 1 go! I do this for files taken on a 5mp camera, brings them down to 180kb each. Used this method for Photobox & quality is still superb! Voted hot by the way.

I dont get this at all, I tried last night and I'm trying again now. I have 93 6x4 pics in my basket and they are showing as £9.10 (£6.51 + £2.59 shipping) not £3.99 delivered.

The 1p per print only applies if your order is 100 prints or more. So, I would duplicate some photos or add a couple more if I were you :)

They only accept credit cards, and I only have maestro :x

Oh and ricecrispie, if you are using the software you have to refresh the prices by clicking on the price menu tab.

Thanks, but it kind of defeats the point of having a decent camera if you then degrade the photos for printing.

Did you set the size to 6x4? I had to change my size.

In the end I did 202 pics for £5.21 which is a great price.

I downloaded the software but also clicked to update pricing.

Not really that kind of resolution is not required for 6x4 prints you only need the kind of resolution you will have for much larger prints.

Anyone used this company before? What is their print quality like?

BTW, theres another great free software that does resizing aswell as many other things called Irfanview. Great software.

Hi,

Not really as 6 x 4 photos are generally printed @ 300 dpi, The only real point of high res cameras is for cropping or printing @ large poster sizes.

Thanks, will tell g/f

Mine came this morning and I'm made up with them! Got about 350 photos printed up. Might as well while they're cheap eh?

Now I've just gotta find an album big enough!

I would upload them from work :giggle:, I've got a giga-fast connection at work and 1000 photos will take less than an hour.

My prints arrived on Saturday, 180 for just less than a fiver. Quality is spot on.
#26
Received two orders on this deal, first for about 200 photos, then the full whack (well, about 950). Quality very good, arrived a few days later, unbelievable value at about £15!!

Good find OP!

last few days on this one, takes a while to upload photos so worth doing so soon if anyone is still thinking about it (especially if you turn off the upload compression for best image quality!)

Anyone here used this company as well as another company? For comparisons sake, how does this companies prints compare to something from a company like snapfish (who's prints are excellent).
#31
I personally thought the images were really good, they were certainly better than some (of same image) I had done at Jessops. They use compression (reduces 3MP images to around 300kbytes) by default when you upload but you can turn this off. Good paper - Fuji Crystal Archive Supreme. They automatically crop images to size so the width is constant (so if you send a square image it is 4" x 4" but interestingly I have some about 7" by 4" i think - no ruler here!), colour is good.

However, some people have had a very different experience by the sound of it, reporting very poor quality - I wonder if this is due to the compression. Big problem really is uploading 1000 different 2MB files in one go!! However, I wanted multiple copies of a few files (for flyers etc) and this worked out very well.

Had an email saying this offer is extended until the end of May if anyone still wants cheap prints!
