I couldnt find any at two of my local stores either!

Not that I am saying this is a bad price for discs but you can get a 1TB hard drive for about £70 now which is 7 pence per gig. (this is 7.78p for 700MB) It's now cheaper to store data on a hard drive than on CDs.

It's a nuisance carrying the hard drive to play the music in the car though.

thanks op- picked up some from maidenhead

they had 100 spindle of DVD-r's as well for £10!

I wouldnt buy them if they were own brand. Someone gave me some Morrison's own brands and not one of them worked after trying 10. Complete waste of time and effort

Ye but 100? Most people buy this many CDs to archive data. I used to burn TV series and films to disc to save on precious disc space. I accept CDs still have their place but data archiving is no longer one of them.

I thought this website was about saving money - so you recommend spending £50 plus the cost of USB sticks & SD cards rather than a few pence per CD. Hmmmm.

They had a few left this afternoon.

glad these are of use to some of you - my personal view is that they'll last me a few years or so - useful for sending pics to relatives or sticking a few mp3's on.
