Just tried one, and it works a treat, and doesn't appear to be any smearing either

it would take me approx 4 years to use that much,!!!

you must have a clean house.

Just use Kleenex. Oh, sorry, not the same thing.....

Just use a clean microfibre cloth for LCD screen. Dampen it with boiled water if there are stubborn stains, else just use it dry.

Cheap, safe and environmentally friendly.

I never get any finger*tips* stuck to my monitor, sometimes fingerprints though haha
Sorry, that made me chuckle..

Anyway, decent price - heat added.

i bought a couple of these a few months ago cos they were so cheap, but hey arent that great the packaging is stupid, you cant get the tissues out without taking the whole lid off, the tissues arent that effective but they get the job done after some wipes. but since its £1 i guess its ok asu get a 100 tissues.

Agree with computerman, should win most stupid lid award, they also dry out pretty quick as the packinging is not sealed very well. Having said that for a pound they are worth a go and worth some heat.

Whirly is kinda right, you shouldn't really be using anything other than dry cloths (microfibre) and simple water to clean your TFT's. CRT's can be cleaned however you want.

Nice price :-)

These are handy to keep in the car too. Great for cleaning smears on the screens and on dusty/salty days you can clear your lights quickly :-)

KFC wipes are free and do the job perfectly - I keep a stash in my drawer at work ;-)

Looks like your desk drawer could do with a bit of a clean :whistling:

----

Good deal, but as Hodgy is hinting, if you work in an office environment - you never need to 'buy' these wipes...

chance would be a fine thing, the cleaner doesn't even know how to hoover the carpet, let alone wipe surfaces down :p

Im very interested in these, but live in ireland :(

Could anyone send them to me? Im looking for something to clean my 24" monitors and apparently you cant use water and tissue.

Would pay postage if anyone could send them :)

cheers

I'm sure your local motor factor type place will sell something similar. The cost of postage would be daft

Why are people going on about cheap alternatives, they cost 1p per wipe! Nice KFC wipes stash lol.
#19
I would advise against the KFC wipes, the last time I used one of those on a expensive Sony laptop it ruined the screen!

Let me guess, the bottom drawer is full of KFC salt sachets for de-icing the driveway in winter?
