saxo_appealsaxo_appeal

It's been a long time coming but it's finally here....(well I've just found it)

Available on iPad HD at £8.99 and also on iPhone £5.99

I think this is a smashing price for something you can play time and time again and you don't have to wait on loading times

Reminisce your childhood years with 100 Spectrum Games

Remember waiting for ages on the game to finally load
Hearing the Beeeeeee beep
Playing your favourites for hours upon hours
The 48k burning your lap

My best games were,
Chuckle Egg, Skool Daze - Back to Skool, Jet Set Willy, Manic Miner, Monty on the Run, Everyone's a Wally

The 30th anniversary of the ZX Spectrum home computer and the commemorative Google Doodle has got us feeling all nostalgic for the 8-bit era, so we're glad to see Elite Systems Ltd has decided to furnish our iPads with 100 iconic games.

The games feature automatic auto-saves, complete with the original box art and instructions and the iDaptive touchscreen control system.

For those of you running android, you can get a FREE Spectrum emulator called "Marvin" (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=cz.dejvice.rc.Marvin&hl=en)
and it integrates into "World of Spectrum* " (http://www.worldofspectrum.org/)
*(which BTW is a legit, legal site)

You then have 100's of free games/ software available via a free emulator.

    FREE I say, FREE!

For all those people who live near a Tescos, dont pay £1.20 for a two litre carton of milk, stick it up your jumper and shop lift it instead.

    Free I say, Free!!

    Bad analogy.

Amstrad gave their blessing for the Spectrum to be emulated as did many of the old software houses - there are exceptions but an Android Spectrum app is NOT stealing.

Is this available on iphone, or just ipad, because it doesn't come up when I search 'spectrum 100', or 'spectrum greatest'?
