The Carphone Warehouse has a great deal in store for anyone who is looking to;

* Buy someone a Contact and pay for the line rental upfront
* Switch from Pay as you Go to Contact but afraid of commitment.
Or
* Doesn’t use a lot of minutes or Texts
* Wants a contract but doesn’t want a monthly bill
* Spends between £3 and £5 per month on their phone.

The deal is on Talk Mobile

Its called the All in One Pack

You Pay £44.95 for the first 12 months line rental.
This works out to £3.75 per month.

You will get 100 minutes and 100 texts every month for 12 months.
The minutes can be used anytime to Landlines, and Standard UK Mobiles in the UK.

If you just count the minutes, that’s an amazing 3p per minute!
Or if you take texts into account also, it works out to 1.5p per minute or text

Better than any Pay as you Go..

You will receive a Nokia 1800 Phone and an Un-Connected Sim Card.
There is no contract to sign.

You can connect the sim by calling Talk Mobile and providing your registration details.

This Registration can be done with anyone who lives in the UK, Aged over 18, holding a UK bank account.

You will not be charged any line rental for the duration of the 12 month agreement.

After 11 months, Talk Mobile will contact you to ask if you would like to change your deal, Upgrade to another deal or cancel.

There is no obligation to continue past the 12 months.

I accept the Deal is not for anyone who needs a load of minutes.
But it’s great for any low users out there.

Thought I would Share the Knowlage..

I was with Talk Mobile about a year and a half ago and I wasn't very pleased with their customer service. Yes granted they're cheap but that gives them no excuse to be rude! Also, I felt the biggest probem with them was that they could only tell you how many minutes you had used yesterday and not currently, which was a bit of a pain, especially if you thought you may have gone over in the last convo! But like I said this was about a over a year ago so hopefully things have changed now... :(

I used to have mobile contracts with CPW too, they were terrible. They hung up the phone on me more than once, phantom charges kept appearing on my bills, rudest customer service I've ever dealt with. I'd never use them again, and I'd advise you not to as well. I submitted a complaint with OFCOM about them they were so bad.

"Things have changed now..."? Yes, because they're trying to get new customers, just wait a while...

Ah! I'd interpreted "The Carphone Warehouse has a great deal in store" as a colloquialism rather than a fact. Strange to have such a deal only in shops, but I don't do 'shops' any more, and can't be bothered to trek into town to find that this deal isn't really what is suggested when reading the small print.

Nokia 1800 handset worth £6 cash at CEX if you already had a handset (assuming Voda handset).
I think its a good deal for light users.
#16
could you keep your current number ?

I think this tariff is the equivalent to this 1 month contract which is £5.11 http://www.carphonewarehouse.com/buy/TALKMOBILE-PAYM-SIMCARD-TK5S-FCON

In this case it might also include 100mb internet.

There is no credit contract. So I assume they just wouldn't allow you to go over your limit or even if you did, how can they oblige you to pay extra?

Worth checking out

Cheers OP, bought this today on my lunch break. Will be perfect for my Mum

I went to my local shop and the staff there did not have any details on this. The only one he could find was the 1 month contract at £5.11.
#37
went to two shops in the north west. 1 said it was a christmas offer and the other said you had to buy a phone(min £ 50 ) to have the deal. Is there a reference number for this deal? or has anyone found one in the north west.

I went into the C/phone warehouse shop in Plymouth & the girl said that the deal is actually £99.95 as it includes a Tocco handset & was absolutely adamant that there was no such deal as the £44.95 one. So, I then jumped in the car & went to the Marsh Mills branch outside town & they immediately said that they could do the £44.95 one (you can also upgrade to a better phone for varying amounts of money if you don't already have a phone) but I took the Nokia 1800 as CEX will kindly give me £9.00 cash for it!! Happy days!! (_;)

got this deal yesterday, you have to register the sim card and give your bank details , so if theres any chance you might go over not such a good deal , ideal for light user
