What's more, the LG 42LW650T 42" Full HD LED 3D TV delivers 3D imagery from almost any angle, so viewers can sit anywhere in the room and enjoy a breathtaking movie experience.

But Cinematic 3D is just one of the many attractive features LG has packed into the 42LW650T Smart TV, which also boasts support for YouTube and the BBC's iPlayer. A couple of things this is a passive set, It may not be every ones cup of tea and picture may not be as good as an active set, but you don't get headaches from there glasses and they cost as little as a £1 each, same technology as used in cinemas, Now an active pair of glasses costs up to £100 per set, if you have a family of 5 or 6 you need to pay £300+ on top to enable the whole family to be able to watch altogether. Pushing the price of a £700 tv up to a £1000

As for horaevankhute comment, brand snobbery is the worst kind of snobbery/ignorance are you aware Sony source well over 50% of there panels from a Taiwanese OEM manufacturer, LCD panels constitute around 70% of an LCD TV’s manufacturing costs hence Sony buying in cheaper inferior LCD panels than when they manufactured themselves 5 years ago.

LG and Samsung are currently at the forefront of TV's with multimedia capabilities, Sony are dragging there feet and living on there reputation from 3-5 years ago (ps I own a Sony TV but when i replace it I will be looking elsewhere unless Sony bring out something better than there current offerings)

This is the best price you can currently get this model which is why I posted it, whether you like the Lg brand or not it is currently the best deal for it

I wonder if you've ever been to your local store to check if your statement is accurate? Obviously not.

I don't own an LG, but they are pushing TV tech on more than anyone else, atm.

Just been to the store and viewed the LG 3d Cinema, I had gone away from 3d, Shutter glasses narrow viewing angle all a joke. I was set on a Samsung. Wish I had not seen the LG frankly its prity good viewing enjoyment in 3d, which is why you buy a TV. So do I go Samsung or LG for a tv around 40 inches ( does europe buy them in metric?). I have a Toshiba 36ZP and panels exluding HD are only just getting to its quality.
