£100 Switch incentive for new TSB current account customers

£0.00 @ TSB Bank
I found this deal earlier while browsing for a new bank account for my partner and since I often check this megathread: http://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/maximise-bank-switch-incentives-earn-up-800-one…

I thought I'd post it, but it rarely gets updated and even if it does, many of you won't see it, so I'm posting it in its own deal :D

Available only through Money Supermarket, TSB is giving £100 for people who switch to their standard "Classic Plus" account.
-Requires 2 direct debits from your switched account
-Requires at least £500 paid in to the account within 28 days of the switch

Very reasonable requirements compared to many incentives.
Account also has fairly decent interest rates for balance and 5% cashback up to £100 spent (£5) on cantactless transactions per month.

Just switching away from them (to co-op) as interest dropping to 3%in Jan. However been very good overall for me, straightforward, easy to use online banking, and helpful local branch

rubbish opened an account with them when they were offering £150 last year, still waiting to be paid, after logging a complaint still your standing with ombudsman, although great lure to get new customers, service is shocking. taken over ten days for a new card,

I'm with TSB from about a year ago - yep, can't fault them really (it did go right for me) - got the incentive, the app is good (basic but in a good way), the contactless bonus is nice but worth noting that ends after a year (does say so on their website, end Sep 17 in this case) but worth noting.

For smaller balances (up to £2k), I'll stick with them post January even if the interest is reducing.

You should check out the megathread I posted. This will be my 4th switch :D
M&S didn't go through, for some reason. Perhaps will retry that in future.

Unfortunately, you're right. I have £150 pending and £70 tracking on quidco (hope it actually goes through)
The requirements were tedious though, 4 direct debits and £800 paid in.

4 direct debits in my eyes is equivalent to 2 new standard accounts as most only require 2 D.D set up. This therefore means for me even the £150 wasn't enough for me to try switching to co op

Standard tesco savings accounts allow you to set up direct debits from your own other accounts meaning you can easily set up four different savings accounts and meet the criteria.

That's some good advice.

Has anyone received this incentive yet?

I helped a family member switch an account under this offer and can confirm it paid the £100 into the account a month after the switch without any chasing.
