This was a good one until yesterday

Sony Ericsson Satio reconditioned Free, £10 / month (24 month contract) @ TMobile

i got this last summer, free SE W595, £10/m, £90 quidco, £50 lastminute.com voucher which i sold for £35 ended up

24 x 10 = 240
240 - 90 = 150
150 - 100 = 50
50 - 35 = 15

so yeh my contract costs £15 for the whole 2 years, and if i added £5/mo for internet that wouldnt be so bad considering how cheap the contract is in general after all the perks
#8
Yep excellent deal, what phone out off them all is best to go for ??

I'm liking the look of the Nokia 5230 - a low-end smartphone, has 3G, in-built GPS and free sat nav software. Could also use as an MP3 player if you upgrade the memory (max. 16GB).

Can't say what the LG or Samsung are like though.

I got a vodafone sim only deal a few months back :

100 mins, 500 texts and unlimited (500mb) internet for £10 a month (12mth contract)
banned#13
£10 * 24= £240
- Phone worth ~£100 (Samsung Genio Slide)
- £90 quidco

= £50 for 24 months= £2.08 per month

My maths ...

£10 * 24 = £240
- £90 quidco

=£150 for 24 months = £6.25 per month, with a free phone.

That doesnt include a *so called* free phone..

People probably better off with the SIM only deals if they are planning to sell the phone..

Calico_cat is estimating the free phone is worth £100 and has deducted that too from calculation.

I have access to quite a few cashback sites, and one states the £90 cashback is only for contracts over £30 a month. has anyone got £90 to track on THIS?
#17
This deal was on before Xmas. One of the woman in my work took it out and got £90 Quidco. She chose the Viewty lite.

I posted the deal back then but it barely got past 60 degres hot.

HOT deal anyway.
#18
also, i think the answer is yes, but ive got a number that i use for my business (o2) and i dont want to change it,, can vodafone give me my old number when i get the sim?
#19
The Geneo Slide seems like a top rated phone for this deal.

You need your PAC code from O2 to change your number when you buy the phone. I just requested mine now.

I know. In my opinion the phone is not worth £100. So the deal (in my view) costs £6.25 a month, and you get to use the handset for free. Also note in the title FREE PHONE.
#21
I'm not a fan of lengthy contracts at all but, if you get the £90 quidco, this is a very good deal.
#22
Can anyone else confirm the quidco tracking?
#23
Sweet deal!!
I'm currently paying about £15 a month for my Pay as you Go so £6.25 a month for 500 text, 100 mins, and a free phone for the 24 month contract is great deal for me.

I've gone and ordered mine already and I'll probably flog the free phone on ebay and continue using my current (unlocked) phone.

H&R!!!

There's a Samsung Genio slide on ebay with the auction finishing on Sat morning and it's currently at £92.

where ?

Sim only,

Tesco mobile who use the vodaphone network,
£10 per month gets you 250 minutes and unlimited texts, 1 month contract

Virgin
£10 per month gets you 200 minutes and unlimited texts, 1 month contract

If you don't want any hassle with selling your phone, you could simply recycle it but get less money:

Nokia 5230 - £38.00
Nokia 6303 - £32.00
Genio Slide - £36.00
Sony C510 - £28.00
Viewty Lite - £20.00

So? It doesn't mean it's worth that much. Loads of stuff on eBay is more expensive than in the shops. And many mobiles are bid up by nigerian scammers anyway.

I can confirm that there is £90.00 cash back being tracked:thumbsup:

What is quidco and how do u get it?
#31
T-mobile has a £10/month rolling contract with 100 mins/100 texts + flexible booster (unlimited internet, unlimited texts etc.). Some free phones available on that as well.

Quidco is a cashback website: http://www.quidco.com/about/. They are one of the top payers, however they do subtract £5 from your annual 'earnings'. Another site that pays 100% is TopCashBack: http://www.topcashback.co.uk/About. They do not charge anything for their service. Have a search around for experiences with each.

Special offers can vary between the two though so good to keep an eye on both.

I'm waiting for this phone to get on the site before going for this deal.
Hopefully it will be soon.

Not as good as the 02 deal £10.00 a month on 12 month simplicity deal gets you 300mins unlimited texts which also comes with a free phone. Nokia 6600i new, LG chocolate or a samsung but cant remember which model. Instore only.
#34
guys quidco site doesnt mention of any £90 cashback
http://www.quidco.com/vodafone

all i can see is £150 cashback
[£150for a contract (pay monthly) phone sale]

so is it 90 or 150?

£150 cashback doesnt mention of any conditions?!! confused!!!
#35
PVP,

The £90 cashback was definately in Quidco yesterday as I tried to get the deal but my internet connection kept cutting out so abandoned it.....bizarrely it looks like Vodaphone have upped the offer to £150 cashback which is pretty sweet for the likes of me.

yeah let us know please.
Is there a way to cancel the contract? Like a 30 day grace period to change your mind or something, incase it doesn't track correctly?
#38
Dunno - hopefully, I'll never need to know.

Is it usual for any transaction of this kind to have something like a 14 day "rethink time" I have no idea ?
#39
I just asked them about it, and they say they have a 7 day cooling period which is great.
You can return the order within 7 days.
#40
now i have to decide btw this and the t-mobile w995 offer,
t-mobile has the flexibooster but less cashback... ummm

can quidco be trusted on this? i've so far had good experience with quidco!
