Vodafone are doing a £10 per month, 24 month contract which gives 100 minutes, 500 texts and a free phone.
Quidco also give £150 cashback. Therefore if you sell the phone, you could possibly profit from the deal.

THANKS TO PVP26 FOR SPOTTING THE £150 QUIDCO - I previously posted this when it was £90 Quidco

Phones themselves are ok:
Nokia 5230
Nokia 6303
Samsung Genio Slide
Sony Ericsson C510
LG Viewty Lite

£10 * 24= £240
- Phone worth ~£100 if you sell it (Samsung Genio Slide)
- £150 quidco
= £10 profit + texts + minutes

samsung monte now available on £10 month plan x
- Sabz03

LG Viewty Smile now available on £10 month plan

top deal! Not as good as the O2 simplicty with free phone, but still good.
#2
whats the simplicity deal?
:-D
#3
WTF??? This is legendary....

Excellent deal! I've just ordered, will let you know when (if?) the quidco tracks! It's an incredible deal if it does!! (I was previously a PAYG customer topping up around £10 per month for sim only unlimited texts). I've gone for the Nokia 5230 because I can then get the free Nokia maps and sat nav software :-)

So ...
10 * 24 = £240
-£150 cashback
= £90 for 24 months
£90 / 24
= £3.75 per month for a new phone, 100 free mins, 500 free texts, maps of the uk and a sat nav .

Not bad ;-)

Quidco has just tracked (that took a whole 30 mins!) £150 !!!
Excellent deal, thank you!!!!
#6
How do you go about this if you're on pay as you go and want to keep the same number and still get the quidco?
#7
I just had to do that myself, I was O2 payg and rang them up and asked for my PAC code. They will try and persuade you to stay with them (I rang at 8pm ish tonight and I think my guy couldnt really be bothered though so didnt bother much with a hard sell. He read the PAC code out to me over the phone. Then you can just go through quidco as normal, through to the vodafone site and put the PAC code straight in at the vodafone checkout.

I think this transfers your number over anyway - I've never done this before ! Can anyone confirm?

#12
where can you sell the phone for 100 as i cant find anywhere that will buy it for that
#13
I'm wondering if Nokia 5230 can be unlocked easily?
#14
I've had nothing but good experiences with Vodafone and Quidco, tracked, validated and PAID every time (4 to be exact)
#15
Was thinking of picking the nokia, but that samsung seems to be a nicer bet if you like a sliding keyboard and wifi (which I don't think the nokia has?)
#16
Hi - looks like a really good deal! I've just signed up for Quidco but how do I use it when buying the phone?

Thanks!

My daughter is on PAYG and I want to do the same for her - do we need to get the code first or can we do it after?
#18
Ta Op was looking for a package for my son, i was happy to pay a tenner without the phone or quidco, so its a big bonus for me....anyone wanna buy a Samsung Genio slide lol

close the vodafone website down on your browser

do a search for vodafone on the quidco site then click on 'visit retailer to earn cashback' then order your contract/phone

always go to a particular retailer through quidco to get the cash back

My other half now wants to get one of these phone deals too! I've already gone through our quidco account and £150 has tracked on my purchase. Does anyone know - will another £150 track if he purchases the same deal using same quidco account or will he need to sign up for a separate quidco account for the cashback?
#24
Just ordered.. Thanks OP!
#25
Furiously refreshing my quidco account, waiting for it to track...

Looks like the Samsung has wi-fi, GPS and iplayer support. This is great!
#27
oh happy day.
#28
I jus got this deal through quidco Thanks

I got two transactions tracked in quido one with £150* and another with £1* is that right? what does the star mean?

Also I opted to collect in-store will that make any difference?
#29
This looks good. Waiting for my PAC from O2 now.

I'm inclined towards the Nokia 5230 with its included sat nav; anyone used the Samsung?

With both be warned that this package does not include data, which cost 50p/day (max. 25MB).

#31
can someone pass on the email address
asking for a PAC code, please?
#32
From past experience quidco tracks quick enough but vodafone take months to cough up the readies, took six months to receive the £90 from the last time this deal was on, now just need quidco to hand it over!

Regarding the sat nav on the nokia, you guys do realise it wont actually be useful like a sat nav, due to the phone NOT having gps built in. Its a storage of maps for reference, unless you decide to ex a standalone bluetooth gps receiver.

You only need a pac code/number if you want to keep your existing number. You can get the pac code/number from your existing mobile provider.

I believe that there actually is an integrated GPS receiver in the Nokia 5230.

I cannot get my Pac number from Virgin as they're shut until 9am tomorrow !!! :x
#37
Seems like demand for samsung genio has dropped. They are not even worth £50 on ebay anymore.Have a look.
#38
You can choose 12 months contract. The monthly rental is 20 pounds for the same airtime and text bundle. That means 240 pounds as well for a whole contract but the period is shorter. Hot deal but I now need an O2 offer for my broadband.

Nokia 5230 in this deal has built-in GPS receiver. So you can use OVI map and also other SatNav like Garmin.

Can you tell me (us) how long it took Quidco to pay the funds into your account on each occasion? Thanks
