Same deal as has been on numerous times before.

The phones offered for free are:

- Samsung Solid Extreme
- Samsung Monte
- Nokia 5230
- Nokia 6303
- Nokia C3 (Pink)
- Samsung Monte (Pink)
- Sony Ericsson Elm
- LG Viewty Smile
- Nokia C3 Slate

I believe the most valuable for trade-in is the Sony Ericsson Elm, which you can currently get ~£50 for @ CEX. Significantly more on ebay.

The Nokia 5230 looks interesting too, especially as Nokia's Ovi Maps can work adequately without a data contract. Though it unfortunately lacks the wifi connectivity of the Elm.

Last time this cashback deal ran I had no problem with cashback paying out in full. (infact, it paid out too much; £240 in total - subsidising my entire contract :)

whats with the vodafail picture?

I think it's a name well earned with all the recent website price glitches. ;)

Just to be absolutely clear - this isn't a glitch of any kind, it's a completely genuine promotion.
It's even headlined in Quidco's weekly email, so i'd be very surprised if people had problems getting them to pay out.

might give people the wrong idea though, you do want people to vote this hot after all

Great, if quidco pays out
#5
For people with quidco fears, i've had 2 vodafone contracts pay out £90 ea, both were £10/mo. Damn instead of £180 i should of had £300 if they kept this quidco price all the time :P
#6
seems a great deal.
#7
good deal given the quidco if you're happy with these phones. Shame their offerings with data and a decent phone already seem to be £150 over the term more than e.g. t-mobile... :-/
#8
Direct link that adds the deal to your basket, and shows you the available phones.
Obviously you want to go through Quidco before doing this...

I bought a SIM only deal from Vodaphone with £70 Quidco cashback in October 2009. Its only just been paid this week after many e mails to Quidco, who blame Vodaphone's cashback system Beware.

I presume that's a result of DGM going bust?
Vodafone stopped using DGM back in Dec. 2009.

Good to hear you finally got your money though, and good advice to be cautious regarding cashback in general.

Reading on here it seems vodafone are not reliable to count on getting your cashback.I was going to post a deal tonight on an amazing sim only deal but as cashback is never guaranteed especially with vodafone probably not a good idea.
#13
I have had my cash back paid in a month
#14
Ive got 3 contracts at the moment and all have had quidco paid within 3 months, in fact one had an extra £100 paid after i queried it as i wasnt sure it was tracking properly

You need to change to vodafail logo to the correct one if you want more people to take you seriuosly. I am going cold cos its poor taste when your trying to promote an offer.
#16

quidco tracked but did not pay me after 4 months so far. tcb tracked and paid after 2.5 Some cashback sites are clearly just keeping commission - like tcb not paying out all more than insurances for 6 months (quidco pays out within 1-2). so it is a lottery, as they consider 2 years contract when decide to pay you af gains from their account.

it is actually £10.21 cos of VAT gone up!

Not a chance after experiencing their diabolical customer service!

Can confirm that Quidco did pay out for me last time @ £150

I think this is a better deal on tmobile:

http://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/motorola-defy-for-only-15-24-month-/812913/#post9963733

Even without tmobile offering the defy for a reduced rate you can go through quidco and get a contract for 24 months with 100min, unlimited texts, 3gb data and a phone worth £250 for £115-£80 cashback at £10 a month

Even if you sold the phone for £200 that's a contract costing £75 for two years, or just over £3 a month

Cold. No data and risky Quidco. Better off getting a cheap phone or using an existing one and going for the Tesco £10 pm similar only deal which gives more minutes, unlimited texts plus unlimited data.
#23
Anyone know if its possible to keep your existing number (o2) and still get the quidco cashback?

If so, when do you ask for the number to be transferred? At the time of ordering or can it be done later?

Thanks

Where is this Tesco Sim only £10/month contract with unlimited data you speak of?

Tesco SIM only deals:

More to the point, how does a Tesco £10/month sim only contract with a total cost of £240 if kept for 24 months compare to:

£240 vodafone contract
-£150 cashback
-£70 saleable value of phone (SE Elm).

£20 for 24 months of 100min, 500txts service? (£1.20/month)

Voting cold. I ordered mobile last night, they sent me email today asking me if this is the 1st of 2nd phone I want to reconnect to there network. They want me to call before they dispatch phone. I don't have a vodafail contract, though if I contact them that will invalidate quidco cashback :-(. I will look elsewhere for a new mobile
#27
Been about six months and still no sign of my cash back from the last time this voda quidco deal was posted so voted cold
#28
Took 2 vodafone contracts last year and qualified for the £150 cash back for each. Phone contracts were taken out in April and cashback was paid in September. Have to admit, cashback did take a bit longer that I anticipated, but well worth it and a cracking deal.
