LOL, same here, I got it for my slow cooker, so I could put things on in the morning and be ready when I got in, but none of the recipes are for slow cooker, they are all between 30 mins and 2 Hrs where I was looking for 6 - 8 hour ones...

Has still come in usefull though .... with some decent recipes which I have managed to adapt for the longer cooking times....

ive got a few of these 101 books and yeah not bad, the one pot is definitely handy, but just make sure your cupboards are well stocked.

Love these books. I have around 15 of them. Easy, quick and sensible meals.

Same here, then realised it wasn't a slow cooker book, lol. TBH I make stuff up as I go along anyway, my beef in ale and chilli rocks! Although thats just cos I grew a load of chillies this summer so they go into everything :D

I use my slow cooker at least once a week, yet only eat at home 3 days a week anyway. Best purchase I've made for the use I get, apart from my 3 quid dishwasher anyway!

I already had a good selection of these books and have found them to be excellent. I had planned to get some of the others so I've picked up 5 more for £10 - thanks!

Have some heat and rep.

I thought some of these were always on Amazon for 2? I bought the one-pot dish book a couple of months ago for that price and keep seeing it on amazon.
#11
I have a few of these and I use them loads. I'm going to get the ones I don't have:thumbsup:

£3 dishwasher?

dont suppose he's a nigerian man named terrance you bought down the docks? mine escaped!!

LMAO!

Nope, went over to my local car boot 2 weeks ago at around 11am so expected to see nowt. Someone was selling a dishwasher that he'd reduced from a fiver cos nobody wanted it. He even delivered it for free as I had no car! Works a treat, but he'd written on it in permanent marker, bah! Cleaned off with a bit of elbow grease but was a pain!

Cost me twice that just to get a water splitter.
#16
Had one of these already from amazon. Just ordered another 8 from Tesco :D
#17
Yes. The one pot one is probably the best one to get. Some of the recipes require specialist ingredients, but most of them use stuff you can get from any supermarket. I'd definately reccommend it, and at £2 can't go wrong.
#18
Defo recommend these. Single bloke living on my lonesome has made some cracking low cost meals with this series of books:thumbsup:
#19
Nice find just ordered 5
#20

#21
