What is the taste difference between this and Basmati?
I second this question, I'm not brave enough to just try it...
I think it's not too bad. Comes from Thailand.
Where is this?

Which store?
Where is this?

The offer is in Tescos.
Thanks it is comparatively cheap
I've used Thai fragrant Jasmine rice all my life and is my rice of choice (not used this brand though).
Don't use the drain water method to cook it though (like you might American long grain). Results in nice fluffy rice. Sub £10 for 10kg bag is a pretty good price.

Jasmine is stickier, doesn't require soaking and takes a few more minutes more to cook. They are used in two totally different cuisines... I mainly used jasmine for egg fried rice, although I found tilda long grain is just as good and stick to that now.

This is an excellent price for jasmine rice though. Heated :)

ok for our effnick friends i suppose

Which store?

Tesco Colney Hatch and Tesco Metro Stroud Green (which came as a surprise as I didn't even know they did bags that big there).

They also had a 2 for 1 on some coconut milk which was good value, but that's not online so I didn't bother posting it.
